The poem in the comments on your second link really got me good. Clearly my emotions are right below the surface these days, but damn, that poem proved it. Sad but good tears.

Nice crew. Does your cat like the faucet? I had a cat that really did not like water, though she would drink from the faucet if she could reach it without the water getting to her. One time my girl was in the tub and the cat was circling the tub just hanging out when she slipped into the water. The cat was fine, but my girl ended up with stitches.

She does like the faucet and and water in general. She's a sweetie. Super curious and intelligent. I've had cats like her before that are fascinated by water and the sound of running water.

I had a cat as a child who would come into the shower and sit on the edges of the tub to watch the water from a distance. Sorry about your girl getting stitches. Even cats that are curious about water seem to universally hate getting submerged.
