I just found out yesterday that my remaining dog Pancho has terminal cancer and needs to be put down soon. Some of you may remember that her sister Lefty passed over the winter. Pancho has been trying to die for years now for unknown reasons, but the cancer is a new thing. I was hoping to give her this one last summer, had all of her meds lined up but now it's looking like she only has a week or two left.
Pancho was the true runt of a 15-dog litter, and would not have survived it without her sister Lefty's protection. She had ptsd because of it but she survived, and may have outlived all of her siblings so
runt's revenge. I will surely miss her like I do her sister, but we still have my cat Cosmo and he's in his prime.
I will keep her as comfortable as possible with painkillers and the other medicine she was already on. When her matching canvas duffel bag arrives we will put her in it, take Lefty out of the freezer and bury them together. Their graves are already dug, it's a very nice spot overlooking a lake.

apologies for this being a duplicate post from the parkinson's thread
