But Im still glad I live here than any other place, fuked up cops and all. I pass thru life easy,I'm sorry some seem to get caught up and my strategy is to do my best to not set my self up for failure. Been a while since I had any contact with the boys in blue.I do see the moral decay of society which is the reason for so many atrocity's, there seem to be a lot of violence and unstable kinds everywhere today.In my line of work I can tell you a million stories of the proof of it. Cops see it more, not an excuse but I have to tell you, peeps do weird shit when PTSD kicks in. Ive been on a hose line and had a guy flip out and start bouncing off the walls trying to get out of as he called it HELL. Homeboy blows a gasket upstairs when a trigger is et off ,and then at times as normal as can be, non the less no longer in the field, but I see a macho mentality in the PD in the mid line management level and it doesnt do a good job of cleaning house of the roid junkies and the personality disorders, a lot get dinged up on the job and as they say CANT TAKE THE HEAT GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN most dont get out.CAMERAS baby!!! keep the nut job ones at bay with out a doubt.
Im no fan of any political office other than libertarian, thats down sizing the federal govt and putting it back in the states hands and even more real freedom to the citizen .....NEVER HAPPEN in the new age of politics, the fed would lose their $$ and power and they dont want that.:disgust:

There doesnt seem to be any body home in congress these days. For the people by the people is gone to days of yore and today its all about lining their pockets and every day more of them join the ranks of the Elite and seem to think they have the patent on human behavior and know better than all of us .

Voting doesnt work,they shake a lot of hands on the way up so they get tainted and we all know about strange bed fellows. I try not to really care any more about it, to me its IDIOTCRACY full speed ahead . I feel you just need try to find some peace in a passion these days to keep you in tune with life. I rescue bully breeds. the hunch backs of Notre Dame in the k9 world. Abused by many ,slandered by the media and owned by a lot of morons who have no business owning a gold fish.But there is much love taking them from near death or those who only need some structure and turning them into breed ambassadors. A lot of work but very rewarding. They are some of the most sweetest K9's, have hearts of gold and are so loyal and forgiving.I am hardened from my job but I really feel pain when I see these innocent animals at the mercy of madmen,mutilated and maimed and tortured, bring tears to yur eyes.:cry: but that brings us back to ....................

as some of you say ....FUCK THE POLICE!:D

That second story was pretty insane. Leaves you feeling a bit confused though. Half way through the article it says a guard "knocked [the cop"s] trigger finger, setting the gun off" but at the very end they use the term "opened fire". Not to nitpick but I think these are pretty opposing terms since "opening fire" typically requires intent where as if someone knocked into you, causing the gun to fire, it would be considered an "accidental discharge".

Even crazier is that it's the cop who bought that homeless guy boots (who later sold them, lol) last year.

(Edit: didn't a cop in NYC buy a homeless guy boots? I swear it was NY)

That reminds me... I need to keep clear of body builders on bath salts.

@ou812? hey btw thank you for what you do. my uncle was a firemen and i know quite a few others. from what i can tell the fire depts here in STL are fucking solid. i can easily say i have never had a negative experience with a firefighter and you guys risk life and limb when called upon. bravo sir.

and while im at it, thank you to the police officers out there doing shit right. i know youre out there.

now if we could all just get over this cannabis prohibition thing... fucks sake :hmm:

Patterson said it's his responsibility as an artist to inform people about controversial topics such as Brown's death and the ensuing protests in Ferguson.

"Younger people don't necessarily watch the news," he said, adding: "Not all of my music has that tone. This specifically motivated me to want to do a record. It could have been me. It could have been my son. It could have been anybody I know."

This isn't the first time Patterson's music has made headlines. In 2012, Patterson wrote a song about the disappearance of a 5-year-old girl, Jhessye Shockley, a case that is yet to be resolved.

Patterson has been releasing music since 2009. He has played all over Phoenix and has opened for popular acts including 50 Cent, E-40 and Nas.

"We as a hip-hop community were touched by what happened, feel deeply for the family and ultimately hope that justice represents the entire color spectrum," Patterson said.

Patterson's latest album, "Kiss my Converse," is available on iTunes.

The KKK is a scary group, it's hard to believe they still exist. I believe in freedom of speech but it proves in this day and age racism still needs to be addressed in our communities, homes, schools, churches, state and federal levels.

this: The John Birch Society is an American political advocacy group that says it supports anti-communism and limited government. It has been described as radical right.

One isolated story about a black cop shooting an unarmed white kid doesn't really tell us much...but it does serve to flip the dynamics of the MB shooting and muddy the waters.

My honest opinion? Sounds like another cop that jumped the gun so to speak.

The difference, for me, is I don't see that police dept. making a huge show of force. I don't see rubber bullets and tear gas being used on peaceful protesters. No rifles being aimed at people. No violations of 1st amendment rights.

There are also difference in circumstance. Where MB was said to have his hands up (we'll find out the distance with the federal autopsy) when shot, this guy was said to be reaching towards his waistband, while the cops were pointing guns at him and (assuming) shouting commands at him.

Is the story being buried because the victim was white and the cop wasn't? No. Police shootings happen all the fucking time. Sometimes justified, sometimes not. At least this cop had a body cam.

Race is not the issue. It is only used as a wedge. The war on drugs (and terror) has turned the police/people into an us vs. them mentality. They do the same thing with race. And partisan politics. And income equality. United we stand, divided we fall and all that.
