yeah, I use mine through water when at high temps, so it does get cooled to some degree... but it is still harsh enough at those temps to make me cough for a bit.

INH is still my fav. Try dropping the temp a bit jam maybe to 6. I know you are using water but it doesn't hurt to try. I can use abv straight even on 5 and get vapor.
I will say I use the INH as my last vape every day. The newly acquired ssv gets a lot of use but my solo will be back today. You can't beat the taste of that solo glass. I am still learning the ssv so I won't cough ever but I can see it will be my hit and run vape which I love. It will end up in second place or tie for first with the INH with solo coming on both there heels.

is it possible to replicate the hard draw of the Solo if you pack a lot of herb in that tube? I really like the cigar sucking method these days with the Solo as it doesn't irritate my throat very much (but does so with my tongue and front teeth)... It isn't comfortable with more airflow. ![:\](/i/s/hmm.gif "Hmm :\")

Yes but not quit that hard. If you pack it down it will be more restrictive but not as much as the solo unless you let the screen really build up. If you use a long tube you will have no issue IMO with your teeth. I am using an NO2 tube someone gave me. If you want me to measure it I will. I was also in addition placing the tube that came with the INH on the end and then sometimes the smooth flow in-between the two. I wouldn't use the sanitary tube that comes with it now(blue one) to do that however. I did it cause the original tube was sooooooooooo soft I liked the fell better.
I have followed this whole thread - whew! Anyway, received my Inhalator today. Have not tried it out yet, but did notice two things.
One, I did a burn (which I always do after a nasty experience with a right-out-of-the-box vape about 5 years ago) and went through a whole 8 minute battery cycle. Throughout the burn there was definitely an odor of burning plastic close to the unit, but no discernible smoke or vapor coming it. Anyone else experience that, and should I be concerned?
Also, I was under the impression that the temp knob at the bottom has been working much better lately - mine pretty much freely spins around at the slightest touch.
Looking forward to trying it out . . .

Flavor is great up until about 4.5, where it starts getting a bit of a singed (or burnt popcorn) taste.
I've received two like that, the smell goes away and I think it's just from the packaging. I still did two cycles on max anyways.

That's an interesting idea! Will have a couple of friends coming over this weekend with both PAX and INH in their bags! Also my Solo and maybe a Gn0me will be around... It's gonna be a hell of a match! Can't wait. The best buds WILL BE sacrificed!

Better is still not good. I have a cover over mine and still manages to turn. The knob can be a huge pain in the ass. I have turned it on a few times in my pocket but that only happens when I had it off. If I keep it on it doesn't usually happen.
The lesson is always finish your capsule.

I use a thinner type of hair band; the width fits perfectly into the groove between the temp control knob and the body of the Inh. The hair band almost looks like the rings at the top of the Inh, so it blends in nicely.

Thanks for the suggestions! I took my new INH for a spin last night - really liked it (have used an mflb for portable for a couple years). A bunch of material came out of the capsule the first time I tried it, so I have some cleaning to do, but overall very good impression. Nice vapor, and one capsule seems to last a really long time - I lost count of the number of hits, but it was at least 20.

I was afraid to do that since some had issues with the knob coming off because of the bands. I don't know why they can't make it click at each number so it won't turn so easily. I mean my switch is covered so it shouldn't turn at all. I will put a pic later but don't make fun how ugly it is. I made it myself and we all know I can't make stuff. I do actually like the feel since it is neoprene.
Also with the band it will move when putting in and out of your pocket which is what happens with the neoprene. After if moves the switch is not far behind.

Yes they said glue it. I think the band puts extra stress so that may not always work or can become a pain. Maybe someone can chime in that had the knob falling off from the bands and if they still use the bands did it all clear up. The turning issue has never been fixed.

actually I believe they said cut an x or cross or something like that into the piece and then glue it, so it would stick better and not come undone. IDK for sure what they said as I'm not going to look for it, but you sure can

I don't know the widths of the bands that others have used, but the thin elastic hair bands (see the link that I posted in the op) fit really nicely in the groove. Not so thin that it doesn't add tension, but not so thick that it causes the knob to come off (at least in my experience it hasn't).
Because it sits in the groove, it won't come off when you put it in and out of your pocket. I haven't had the knob turn on me while in my pocket as long as the unit is off since in that position the knob "clicks" into place. If you put the Inh in your pocket while it's on then I think the knob might accidently get turned, but probably not by much.
But yes, I completely agree- having a knob that clicks at each number would be ideal.

I really want the inh but in chat ppl mentioned the mflb which I ignored when joing FC. I can be uppity like that. But then started thinking, hmmm, Here I am broke as the 10 commandments, i really was out of order. I want to get enhanced and should put my pennies towards the gardner. So, I grumped on over to mflb site and forum and man, I am so psyched looking at it and all the free stuff from puffitup! But next year.....can i still be a member of the fan club though, purty purty please?
