I just got in the 16hole/'blaster pack' version! I will share my experiences here. Current daily drivers are the Stunner by MGVS and the megacicle, I am just now moving into more 'dekstop' class hardware in terms of space commitment, and liked the concept on this enough to give it a spin before committing to larger units. The stock balls are GR5 Ti, which is interesting! I plan to also test 2.5mm ruby balls (corundum tends to be my baller thermal media of choice in most scenarios), and maybe SiC if I want to climb the conductivity ladder even further.
My intuition says, higher conductivity is nice if the ball quantity is small. There is a smaller system that is fundamentally reactive instead of relying on a soak, dramatically more so than most desktop ballers given the heater/thermistor combo is physically inside the ball chamber and has a very high surface area to ball volume ratio. But that could be totally wrong! Just some burnoff rambling. Very curious to see how this does given the price!
