Hey all, I've been in search of a quality, quick, hard hitting desktop with good efficiency. I've been hoping to also find a unit that can be stored away quickly and easily stored in a discrete way without too much hassle.
Some of you may have seen the thread I created in the ask FC forum asking for opinions about vapes I've read about on here. As I rarely, if ever, get to try any vape I don't own in the wild, I had some questions.
To keep an already long monologue a little shorter,
@damm (among several others, thanks again guys!) recommended the hydrobrick. Anyway, after reading this thread and watching both vape critic and sneaky Pete's reviews of the brick I decided it was the best choice.
I just have a few questions:
1) ive seen a lot of glass milking vids where people were using a torch that had a fairly curved neck leading to the fire-y bit. It seems like a good choice since the vids made it seem like you don't have to go beyond the point where most torches start having trouble when heating the intake. Can't figure out what torch this is. Any chance you guys are familiar with the torch I've vaguely described? Lol
2) im all about water filtration, but due to my living situation, most of the time I'll have to use my brick dry due to a need for discretion. Is the hydro smooth enough that I could reasonably do this? Before I got my firefly 2 I used my mflb native 95% of the time. Is the hydro smooth enough to use without filtration one or two times a day without feeling like 10,000 rakes had a field day in my throat?
3) I've read conflicting views about HTs vs traditional glass. Is there really such a drastic difference between the ease of use of one vs the other? If so, would using the brick dry help in building the necessary technique?
4) when everything is packed away (the lid is on), how smelly is the brick when in a drawer or cabinet? Would you guys say that a person with a moderately sharp nose would pick up? Or should I just cut my losses and get a pelican case lol
Thanks a lot guys. I apologize for the ramble. Rough day so I spent some extra time with my fly tonight
. Thanks to FC I've been able to find a way to get respectable, cool and smooth, surprisingly potent clouds from it consitantly. So after a couple bowls I'm in the clouds
. I'm just hoping the brick will be noticeably harder hitting lol
Thanks again!
