I was looking at the Omicron, looks good. And they also have a new micro bubbler attachment for it thats coming out!

I know. Believe me I know... Really want to try it. I think if you go with the Omicron 2.5 then you will leave room to expand later (versus the lite version of the ophos)... while still retaining a compact form factor.
While I don't have one yet I hear very good things about the KISS cart from W9. If you were looking at a g pen then that might be up your ally. Stick with the 2ohm version for now. The 5s have issues I hear.

I'm really liking the Omicron 2.5. Sorry for sounding ignorant but what do you mean by expanding later? And what's the KISS Cart?

As for expandability... the Omicron 2.5 and Persei use much beefier power hardware than the Omicron Lite and Ophos. This allows you to use attachments that wouldnt be able to run off of the lesser powered units.

Pro tip: I found out recently that the new Omicrons that ARENT black (any other color) ship with the HVD tops. This is an upgraded top which actually is kind of pricey if you buy it separate.
Might consider getting a color version direct from W9 Techs website so u can get one yourself... less it HAS to be black.

Thanks for the explanation Caligula. The Omicron is definitely looking like the one I'm gonna get. Do you think I can buy it in a smoke shop or do I have to order it online? And also, I think the bubbler is out. It was an option on the Omicron page on W9tech.

Noticed something on the W9tech site. If I get it in black it's $99.99 but if I get it in silver or red with the bubbler it becomes $489.99 and like $250 without the Bubbler. What gives? Maybe cause I'm on my phone.

I like the first and last, although they're different beasts for sure, I know nothing of Dr. Dabber but think it's basically a clone of Dabbler?
Since this is an introductory vape, I'm thinking Dabbler will be easier to learn to get reliable results from than Omicron? It will surely get to 'big clouds' faster......

No idea but that pricing has to be wrong unless you're buying a nibbler or something as well. Call W9 and talk to Naomi. She will set you up. @nao12000
@OF I was suggesting he start with the LYAG (KISS) carts with the omicron for that very reason. Then he could move on to the more advanved carts later if wanted. He wouldnt have that option with a Dabbler, et al. IMO.

I've also come to think it's best to reserve judgement until the honeymoon is over and there's enough miles on the vape to know how it both stacks up and holds up?

I have the older style G-Pen. While it is for sure not my favorite I have never had any real issues with it. Recently a friend picked up the newer style and I'm having problems helping him out. I loaded it up the same way I do with mine but it looks like it is leaking through the holes at the bottom. I have attached a picture. Am I doing something wrong?

Long time lurker. First time poster. Looks like it's been a little while since anyone has posted in here so this might be a failed attempt.
I've recently come across some BHO. Never heard of it or tried it before. My only experience with vapes is my Pax I have for flowers.
So I did a little research on BHO and hastily and unfortunately purchased the Micro G Pen at a local head shop. After reading through this thread, I've decided I will be purchasing an Omicron or an OPhos once this G pen goes out. Which from what I've read will be soon -.-.
What is the difference between the omicron and ophos?
Also I would like to use G pen for the time being until it craps out. I have noticed after reading through here that it might be worth my time to use an Omicron cart on this G pen for the time being. My question is if the omicron carts fit the micro g pen. And if so what exactly do I search for and where do Buy it? If not can i get an adapter for my Micro g pen to take those carts? Or are there any other carts i can use on this g pen that will do better than the stock carts that came from grenco?

G pens are much better now than they were when the bulk of the reviews in this thread were done in 2012.
A friend was showing me his last night. With the new standard wick/coil it performs much better than it did with that shitty original plastic tank.
Is it as good as W9 stuff? Of course not, but it's now no worse than any other silmilar style pen. At least they're attempting to make it better.
