I'm fascinated how quickly Luigi became a hero...
Political assassination isn't something new. But the Brigate Rosse, Action Directe and the Rote Armee Fraktion were considered like terrorists and marginals by the public. Not Luigi. Even if he don't survive, the world will remember him by his first name...

Maybe we're witnessing the rise of popular self consciousness into the class warfare... that's historic.

To be clear, I'm against extra-judicial executions. Hell, I'm against the death penalty after a trial. But the response has been absolutely fascinating. Particularly the gap between the billionaire owned news media and regular people.

To me, the most interesting is watching the so called independent, anti-elite, "populist" Right Wing Media. A wealthy CEO being assassinated returned them to factory settings: defending capitalist hierarchies at all costs. And their audiences are starting to notice.

This is not normal. Ben's comment sections generally look like Nazi rallies.

Feels gruesome to say, but the past week has given me more hope for the future than I've had in a very long time :shrug:
