@Dr.Dabber I know you guys have updated your Boost with Ceramic tops instead of Teflon but according to this https://www.reddit.com/r/Waxpen/comments/447o7v/i_just_cut_apart_a_greenlightvapes/

It is still using solder etc... I am a little concerned have you guys also looked into the other materials do you think your tops are safe and are the nails real Ti?

I have heard rumors that it is not completely Ti and more so an alloy.
Our new units that released 2 days ago come with a ceramic nail now. We have replaced all the units that came with a teflon top, and the updated ceramic tops are quality. We are the only ones to do this so far.

I have the new top (with Ceramic) but if I read correctly you guys actually have a "Nail" now that is Ceramic as well aside from the Ti one?

Is it screw on so it is compatible with the new top?

I know all the units were replaced that had a Teflon top my question/curiosity was in your new units you put out which I have are they indeed safer or are there other materials/glues used in your Ceramic tops?

I know you guys are the only ones with the Ceramic bases, but I was wondering how the that little ring is held into the Ceramic base that the nail screws into if I look into the unit with the nail off it seems like there is some hard white substance like a cement type thing holding it together.

If you guys actually have a Ceramic nail could I possibly get one of those as well or are they going to be going on sale? @Dr.Dabber

I have been extremely pleased with your CS even after a little minor faults we got everything fixed and communication has been solid and for that I thank you!

I would definitely feel more safer using a Ceramic nail as well with this unit as I have heard claims of the Nail being an alloy mixture instead of pure Ti so if you could get back to me on that Ceramic Nail that would be great! @Dr.Dabber

PS. Quartz nail possibly?, also anymore details on your Dab tool set?

Possibly date available, what material are they made of and price?

I am hoping since you gave information on another update to the Boost that could mean other updates to follow as well since the Cannabis Cup this week perhaps I am in need of a nice little set hopefully yours will fit the bill.

So I finally got around to using the ceramic donut atomizer.. The taste is fantastic, but I notice very little vapor on the exhale. Seems to medicate well though.. Anyone else notice very light vapor with the ceramic donut? I've tried it on all three heat levels and still very light vapor, in fact, some hits I don't see any vapor at all on exhale.. It tastes great and I get lifted, but kind of miss the denser vapor I get from the other two atomizer.. Oh yeah, I do a fairly long 10 second pull. Any Aura owners want to chime on on which atomizer you like best and why??

I am still partial to the ceramic donut although it is still the most problematic. I like it because the product lasts longer AND the taste is great. I do have some black gunk on there that wont seem to burn off and if I have an extended session and things get really hot the seeping out the side holes happens and that is kind of annoying. The double coil atty's are both great but both don't have as great taste.

Kudos to @drdabber for reaching out to me - I emailed him a few photos but I am not really looking for anything out of him. I understand that the atomizers need replacing but I was just wondering if what I was experiencing is unique.

I also noticed less vapor although I was pretty much expecting that after reading about it on here....if you want to chase the clouds just swap out the atty.

I like the solid feel of this pen too. The mouthpiece is really nice. I just bought another pen and it is nice but you can definitely feel the difference in quality when you hold it in your hands.

Hey Dr.Dabber, loving the Aura, had it about 2 weeks now and it's got me high as shit everyday. A couple of questions. I dropped the donut atomiser on the first day and the donut bit on the inside moves about when I load it with oil. Is this normal or have I broken it? It still works so no biggy.

Also, when will more accessories be available other than the atomisers? Replacement mouth peices, batteries and other accessories such as mini nubblers etc.

Btw, other people have mentioned leaking issues, Ive been hitting mine quite hard for 2 weeks now and have had no leakage at all. Every so often I do have to clean the magnetic connections with ISO as they get sticky with oil.

@Dr.Dabber What are the dimensions of the Aura vs. the Lite? I can't find that information anywhere. I am definitely planning on taking advantage of your holiday sale. Thank you.

So far my only issues are the leaking - I'll probably buy another ceramic donut atty - Dr Dabber has offered to send me a new battery due to all of the product that leaked out onto it.

Does anyone else have difficulty with the button on the battery? It seems to get stuck alot and I have to fiddle with it to get it to work after I set it down for a while.

I do wish the battery lasted longer too but still pretty happy with it.

Without tried it I can bet the donut atty will run smoother, can't speak for the others but the Evolve glass atty is smoother than ceramic imho....

The product lasts quite a bit longer using the ceramic donut. I am getting an occasional hot glob pumping out of the side vent holes on it - i don't use the other attys as much but no leaking from either of them yet.

I ordered another ceramic donut atty because i am not ready to give up on this yet. They are sending me a new battery. If I can buy a new mouthpiece I'll have 2. I still like it better than the evolve and the stokk but the leaking is persistent.

@Goodfella my Aura leaks slightly beneath the heater and into the battery connector chamber. It gets a little sticky and have to swab area with ISO from time to time.. I'm using the ceramic donut the most.

As you're aware, a lot of concentrate ends up in the upper chamber and mouthpiece. How do you deal with that? Seems like a lot of wasted concentrate..

Do you like to melt your concentrate into the donut/coil by several short button presses without inhaling? Or will that lead to clogs?

I really like the flavor and smoothness using the ceramic donut!

I don't melt the wax first. I have felt slight clogs at times that cleared once it got hot enough. The little vent holes right below the heater, I get globs out of there once it gets hot and also all over the connection on the battery and only with the ceramic one. It come out hot and burned my finger once.

I like it more than my Evolve but the evolve is mess free so far. I use this one more becuase of the ceramic atty. i get 4-5x more life out of the same amount of good...maybe more than that. less clouds better taste.

Do you guys notice that you get much more splatter into the upper chamber or mouthpiece, and more melted concentrate down into the battery, with longer 5-8second draws ?

Would you get any splatter or leakage with short (2-3second) pulls ?

Yes, I like big draws like 10 seconds and it does splatter more in the upper chamber. If you were to load less than .2g and take smaller hits (less than 5 seconds) I think you'd get minimal splatter into the upper piece..the battery leakage is actually very minimal, just a little stickiness on the battery contacts over time. A quick wipe with a Qtip with ISO is all you need.

I haven't had a big problem with reclaim in the mouth piece but it occasionally happens. Much more ending up on the battery and seeping out the side vent holes.

That sucks dudes. I haven't had even an atom of leakage in the batteries of either of my or my GF's Linx Hypnos, or the Linx Hypnos Zero I'm beta testing.

I was very excited for the aura, specifically because of the Quartz walled halo atomizer. But I might take a pass if it has open airflow below the donut, or airflow too low on the sides of the atomizer, causing all this leakage. In all about low temperature efficiency, and I thought this aura halo might be the best for that. Dr Dabber has to get the leakage controlled before I'd buy one/

I think you misunderstood what I said. The leakage is very minimal. We're talking really non visible amount of leakage after running a couple grams through. Just enough to have the battery connectors slightly sticky and it's not even visible. It really isn't an issue. It's not like you're losing concentrate as tha amount probably amounts to like .001g. Seriously...

I tell you what. I'd buy the Aura based upon the non threaded connections alone. Very quick, easy and low maintenance. The ceramic halo is awesome for low temp super tasty hits. The double coil quartz gives you a stronger effect with larger clouds, but still low temp.

I really don't understand what you're talking about as far as air hole concerns.the airflow is great, the hits are smooth..now you do get a bit of oil into the upper chamber below the mouthpiece, but every pen I've owned has that. I have no regrets about buying this pen..

I got a new battery in the mail from Dr Dabber....excellent on the customer service there! I ordered a new ceramic atty also and got them both kicking. I had another issue with the new batery and reluctantly emailed them - they are sending me another battery pronto! again great customer service there. This pen has some kinks that need to be worked out but I am impressed with the care from them.

Id be excited to see any meltshot videos or well lit pics of the halo chamber with its quartz walls, and just how little concentrate sticks to walls, and where specifically the airflow holes on the inside of the atomizer are.

Also, I wish Dr Dabber would give customers the option of choosing all 3 of the same atomizer lol

First the flavor, then the buZzz settles in....
Hello everyone, just a quick question about the Dr. Dabber ghost, if anyone can chime in. Im interested in this unit, for loading concentrates, but I was also curious to know if I can connect 510 threaded prefilled honey oil cartridges to the Dr. Dabber ghost battery, since the battery itself is 510 threaded. Well, my actual question is will this work well?

I read earlier in the thread @Dr.Dabber mentioned using grade 5 titanium coils. Is this the grade of titanium currently used in my Aura ceramic and quartz dual coils?

Grades 1-4 are nearly pure titanium. Grades 5-38 are alloys. If Dr Dabber uses anything other than grade 1-4 then you'd be better off buying something else.
