Dr dabber said a new atomizer will be sent today to replace the doa atomizer. I'm excited to try this thing out! although I'm less of a fan of the load as you go style now that I see it in person. it's gonna be a hassle to have to get a dab out and heat up the dabbing tool to drip onto the coil everytime. when I read people were loading .3 I imagined that it would just vape it all without hassle.

Have you read how I load my oil? You don't have to get a dab out, heat up a tool, and drip it in everytime.
You can load a dab or a bit more at a time, or you can load like .3, and use a tool to scoop a little up onto the heater when hits start to get whispy. It will still work, even if you don't scoop it up, but not as well.
This isn't a reservoir device, it's a load as you go device. It will be single hit use, or more than a few hits per load, depending on how big of a hit you take.
It works great for what it is, but as I've found out, it doesn't replace something like the TV Cera, in the aspect of being able to load a bunch, and just go...no maintenance to keep the load going, etc. I still find it easier to just load a bit as I go, or if I'm really too busy for that, over load and scoop up as needed.
oil is a fickle little substance. i find "scooping it up" doesnt just drop so nicely onto the coil. i find it much easier to torch the dabbing tool and just let it drip right on vs having to wipe it onto the wick, especially with all those tiny components underneath the wick that seem like they could easily be disturbed. right now im working with wax thats not very crumbly. i almost wish it would have like a little metal bar above the wick you could just wipe on, that would be perfect

Totally forgot to mention that I thought mine was originally DOA - but in fact it was in locked mode, which requires 5 successive button presses to unlock.
Still loving this thing, still haven't ordered a new atomizer!! I usually blow through 1/8th in a couple of days, the gram of blue dream earwax I picked up last Tuesday is still over half full...

I did, quite promptly, receive my email with confirmation & tracking number.
I'm expecting I'll get my lovely little package either tomorrow or Monday.
The globe pen vape I'm making do with until it arrives, kinda sucks.
I also have a different pen that I am keeping as a back up. I really like the Dr. Dabber better.

Just ordered the globe and a spare atomizer - hopefully the one I've currently been beating on will last until early next week. Happy Friday to me, my shop ended up having a bunch of different waxes that weren't advertised!

I have been going strong on the only 3 heaters I've ever had...serveal aggressive cleanings, and no failures yet! They've also been dropped numerous timesJust ordered the globe and a spare atomizer - hopefully the one I've currently been beating on will last until early next week. Happy Friday to me, my shop ended up having a bunch of different waxes that weren't advertised!

The ghost atomizers are tough for sure - I'm not particularly careful when loading, or when scraping up oil/wax that's built up on the inside, and my first one has held up amazingly well!

My first heater finally died yesterday - put 4+ grams of oil & wax through it since October 21, which I think is very reasonable for a ~$15 part that I really didn't take any special care of.
Can't wait for my globe and new ghost heater!!

I'm loving that I'm getting more life than I expected...fluke or good maintenance, IDK...but at $15 a pop, I wouldn't mind having had to replace a few by now...

I'm going to keep using the cracked globe, but keep a very close eye on it. I don't even know how it cracked. I've had it less than a week. I'm really hoping I can keep using it through the holidays, at least.

I've never seen the globe pieces in person...but if it gets bad, maybe you could carefully break/remove the rest of the glass, and use that particular heater as a waterpipe/special glass mouthpiece only heater. With an o-ring, if it doesn't already have something like that, I'm sure you could fit it into an array of glassI'm going to keep using the cracked globe, but keep a very close eye on it. I decided to go ahead and order a 5 pack of the regular atomizers, just so I will have them. It concerns me that I broke my first globe in the first week I had it, so that's another reason I did it. I'm almost afraid to use the new globe I ordered.
