Our main goals with this pen were discretion and performance, In the future we may offer some different batteries.Aha! I suspected the atomiser didnt come with a mouthpiece. 650 seems a little low but ill live...
Awesome! Shoot me a pm if you ever get ones with longer life or a led display! Blue led on this would be dope as hell! Our main goals with this pen were discretion and performance, In the future we may offer some different batteries.
Ok so i have a few questions for the Dr, excuse me if this sounds a bit caustic its not intended too...where is the $80 coming from? The atomiser costs $18, the dabber, ball, and charger cost just under $15... That means that its $50 for a battery and a box??? 1100 miliamp hour batteries for standard ecig threading (which is what is on this product) cost about $15 with a 5 click on off button. Batteries with led displays and that push 1600-2000+ miah hours go for about $40.
Correct me if im wrong, but USUALLY you get better value for money when you buy a kit? Not seeing that here. I shoulda ordered the atomiser and just bought everything else from my local headshop/ecig store for about $20 saving me about $40.
Am i missing something here??? Or does drdabber get his boxes hand crafted by tibetan monks hence the priceyness?
@aceonbase, Comparable pens (ie the Vapor Bros. Dabbler) are comparable in price.
Theres no comparable pen on the market in terms of quality and customer service is stellar
So, you're saying the Dr. Dabber pen isn't worth the money?
As Mom says, the price is on par with other similar units...
And as you state here, the Dr. Dabber pen seems to be better than other pens at a similar price point.
So, I'm confused as to where you stand on this Do you still think it's not worth the $80, especially considering the extras included, and the customer service provided? Or do you just simply not understand what you're saying? Maybe your Dr. Dabber and concentrates are working just a little better than you think?
Anyhow...You seem to be happy with, and well taken care of by Dr. Dabber, so I'm still anxiously awaiting my unit to arrive so I can hop on this bandwagon with you all!
I ordered my unit the other day, and the Doctor was far beyond helpful over the phone getting my unique shipping situation squared away! He also was very polite despite my being a nuisance several times and for that I'm very thankful!
So tomorrow looks like the day I'll be trying out my pen...look for some kind of review post in a day or two I'm hoping that this will fill the small gap left between the VXL Cloud and my newly acquired TV Cera! They are both quite amazing performers, but neither of them are portable enough to work in every situation I need to medicate it; I think that the DD will fit in just perfectly
Ok... Incase you havent noticed im a little cranky about the charger situation so its given me a few days to think about stuff like this. Today all my questions and worries will be vaped away when the mailman comes!I truly think you are over thinking this......
I put a dab on top of the coil.... after a few pulls check that it is still on the coil. If it isn't, I take a toothpick and carefully scrap along side of the coil and replace it on top.
The only thing you need to be careful of is to keep it mostly upright while hitting so that your product doesn't run into the mouthpiece. And I have never had any problem with anything getting into that hole.
I'm worried about product falling into the little hole that is underneath the wick portion of the heater. Can anyone confirm this is not an issue?
Also, i figured when loading it i would:
-place the atomiser on a flat stable surface
-hold the dab wand approx 1 in above the center of the atomiser/heating coil
-hold a lighter close until it drips off onto the coil
^solid technique? Better way to do it? I want to avoid touching the coil alltogether because they are extreemly fragile
Thanks for your interest in our pen, we are currently in the development stage of a wickless vape. It won't be like anything else on the market and theres really not much else I can say about it at the moment. Can we have a discussion about this vape vs a wickless alternative which I shall not name? I'm just trying to figure out the advantages vs disadvantages.
This is a strong front runner for my ecig consideration, but I don't know enough about the ecig vapes to make the decision alone. It is my understanding that the wicks are basically the least "safe" part of all ecigs. Does that seem to be correct? The concern being the wicks will fray or burn and you will inhale pieces of fiberglass which sounds terrible.
The reason I want to go with the Dr Dabber is the customer service and active presence on this forum. I just don't know if wickless is a better choice for someone as far as material safety goes. What are the downsides of wickless vs this? Will the wickless simply die faster? If its safer but dies faster I'll go with the wickless. I don't mind replacing it more often if it is cleaner.
What makes all you owners feel comfortable using this vape? How do I know its safe/clean? That is really what I want to know so I can make an educated choice. I don't get what part is titanium in this vape, but I love that material choice.
Any insights from the Dr himself when it comes to safety?
What would I need to try this on a pen I already have?
I've got a 510 threaded battery and the charger to go with it. Or is it not compatible with 510?
What adapter do I need? Then is the only thing I need to order the atomizer? I'll be much more comfortable with these parts once I have them in my hands I'm sure.
The battery and charger I have are from liquidizer.
