He makes a very valid point , albeit a bit on the blunt/harsh side.
StoneMonkey discussed in the most recent podcast they really had to crack down on vendors and "kick and scream" to get products to them and out the door on time. And now they face a multi week delay due to lack of a simple opal they knew they needed months in advance?
Makes no sense, in my opinion.

Guys, we already asked to squash the armchair CEOing like 200 pages ago. It's pointless and it won't change your ship date.
The questions on when have been thoroughly asked and answered, many times over. Blowharding about how you could have done something better/different/more efficient is empty nonsense.
In fact, I doubleDogDare those who think they could have done better to go ahead and do it! If someone in this thread thinks they can launch one better, BY GEORGE get to work!
If you can manage the supply chain better, well go ahead and prove it. We tried hiring a supply chain director and it wasn't exactly easy to find someone both qualified and who actually wanted to get into that horrid space
But they are being paid BANK to do it. It's not fun, nor is there much glory in supply chain. I can't even run SAP without wanting to punch the screen because the app is so fucking slow.

there is other methods to get you medicated and I am sure the people waiting are doing it. SM said in three weeks everyone in the igg will get it. That's good enough for me. If there is a delay after that, then I'd understand for the questions being asked and who didn't do what. Patients is critical to loving life. They way I look at it, if a company like apple has issues sourcing retina displays for their new iPad mini people don't vent on a forum. The majority waits until stock is available. If it can happen to apple it can happen to vapexhale. Just be grateful it's three weeks and that your going to get one without having to call 100 retail outlets for it and it's constantly being out of stock.

You didn't have to pay for it 4 months ago. You could waited for the actual launch and bought it then. It still your decision. Regardless, 4 months to the next three weeks. The wait is minimal. Why don't you ask for your money back? Bc you will be more than happy to wait 3 weeks. True that gigaurora, although it really doesn't change my point at all.
The notion that a customer should be "grateful" for receiving a product they paid for in advance is ridiculous, even more so when its over a month "late". If anyone should be grateful its VXH for it's customers/investors having enough faith in them to pre order over $200k worth of product which enabled them to get back up and running as a profitable business again.
That being said, it's not really the issue at hand. (And just for the record I think Stone Monkey and VXH are doing a great job all things considered). All we're asking for is an update on the Early Bird tubes that last we heard were expected to be delivered days ago. Surely that's not too much to ask.

I think all shipments are going to have that bit about partial shipment. Mine said that and everything was good to go. Granted, I was at the Fanboy level so there was no HT in my order.

For those who already received one: Does the package say VapExhale on the return address?
I just found out this week that Fed Ex will no longer leave a package at my house without a signature. I don't want to re-route this to my place of work if it has something obvious on the return address.
If it does, I'll just go pick it up at Fed Ex after work some night. But Fed Ex is about an hour away from me, so I'd rather not if possible.

WoooHoo! Just got my FedEx tracking # and I just may be the First Iindiegogo "Trade In" person to do so.
It does say it may be a partial shipment, I'm assuming in my case this is because I opted for the the "Pelican" case. The case can wait, just give me my EVO!
One problem however: They are shipping this to my PO Box! I just called FedEx and the representative I talked to says they won't deliver to a PO Box, and it's too soon to reroute the package as it's not showing in their system yet so I'll have to call back later today. Obviously if a signature is required it has to arrive at my physical address.

Mine did not require a signature. In the return address area it says Vape-X in very small letters.

This is too good to be true! I actually think you are getting the case. I think not that many contributors wanted the case and supplying these can imo be quick.
