Last night, i was eating at our local Thai/Vietnamese food place. I ordered my favorite dish, pad thai, i asked the server to make it level 5; the spiciest possible. I told him that the last 3 times i went there they forgot to put spice in it! When my food arrived i was thrilled, it was covered in spice! First few bites are ok, then as i get to about the half way mark, my face starts tingling, after a minute or two the sensation spread to my chest, then the tingling went down my arms into my hands. My hands were completely tingling and red at this point, and i was dripping sweet. Next my hands started to lock up, my thumbs wanted to clamp down across my palms, quite an uncomfortable situation. The whole time i was lightheaded and thinking i may pass-out. By this time i start freaking out, I'm not allergic to anything so i didn't really think i was having an allergic reaction, but i didn't know what was going on, or what was happening to me, hell i thought i might just upen die in the middle of the Noodle Hut. I would say i started panicking more, finally, i throw money on the table and leave. outside it gets a little better, but not much. We were in a Vons parking lot so my girl and i run over into Vons, (thinking i may be having an allergic reaction to something, BENEDRIL HERE I COME!!). In the corse of looking for the bennedril i find the pharmacist and told him what happened, he kinda chuckled a bit and said you'll be fine, and didn't think that the benadrill would help, and suggested i may be having a panic attack in addition to the reaction from the spice. (FYI i was 3 days into a T-break) My girl and i make it back to my house, and now the sensations in my body are diminishing, with just a tingling in my face. After some milk and bread on the tongue (the bread absorbs spices off your tongue), i felt good enough to vape some to calm down, I went for a Gods Gift bowl at 7, then i realized i needed CBD/CBN and so i packed three bowls of ABV from the solo at L3. I turned the solo up to 7 with a poop bowl and by the third bowl i was calmed down completely... SO i learned two things out of this.. Don't offend someone when they make you spicy foods, and that ABV has amazing calming properties.
