that's already happening. the majority of everyones focus is instagram so that's where i'm putting mine currently outside of youtube (the CCC is the channel by the way, it's the Cannabis Connoisseur Connection)the extract makers will be courting your reviews
in regards to branching out, really i just need to put my face on instagram more and that's about it. doing things like message board updates are a long term, high risk time investment, i strongly feel i got lucky with the reception i've found here. things are moving so fast for me right now i'm just trying to keep my head on straight.
regarding the MP-e, i don't know if it's necessarily the best macro lens ever made. i don't have enough experience with various macro lenses to accurately pass judgement on it. the 1:1 factor is a bit limiting, i feel like if it somehow backed out to 1:2 it would then be the ultimate lens for shooting nugs. for now, at least in my arsenal, it's a specialty lens for detailed close ups. i actually find myself using it for video more than stills currently, the bokeh is mint. using it is amazing aesthetically, the density of it, the chug of the shutter when it's on your camera..it really makes me realize that my camera body (an SL1 crop sensor which has me fiending for full frame) is very much entry level.
that bit on the tilt shift lens is amazing! i had the chance to meet @weedshoots at chalice and talk shop for an hour or so, talked about stacking and gear, have you heard of the new olympus OM-D EM-10ii? it has built in image stacking which blows my mind..but is an MFT sensor.. i also just discovered magic lantern - a custom firmware for canon cameras - that has an internal stacking plugin available for it. that tilt shift functionality looks promising for macro..why stack if you can effectively get the whole nug in focus at macro distance? time saving worth looking into..thanks for the share!
this week is more sauce. i think it'll be the taffie "diamondz" sauce from gold coast.
