Oh man re-added terps are definitely happening in a number of cases (I know Tony Verzura openly has done this with the Terp added products that he makes and I have no doubt that they are top shelf). There's nothing wrong with it at all either, if they are well isolated and re-introduced in the right quantities ;) We're talking about cannabis terps here.

Using some of the above methods that I mentioned in slightly different ways, you could indeed achieve the same end results without needing to re-introduce terps ;) Either way, it looks great man! Anything that melts with the clear pool around the outside is worth a second look IMO and IME, glad to see such fine material gracing your bowl! :D

I'd definitely be interested in seeing any test results on that kind of material if you do get a chance to see them :science:

The local distributor here in LA area, packages in foil pouches, Bubbleman brand pictured below. On the backside of that item, it is stated that 2 drops of terpenes have been added, not sure the exact wording.

These below are from what I got several months ago, have no idea what the consistency of the foil packaged are like, just what I obtained and you can see they are quite different. As beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I will not state that these are top-shelf as *most* cannabis products available commercially do not affect my physiology the same as most people...it would seem. And if you add terps from same cultivar vs different cultivar, you may find different effects...potentially; something to consider if you need this for medical reasons...something it appears herbivore is not concerned about in that statement of there is 'nothing wrong'...but is it right? lol

With respect man, you've misunderstood what I was saying. Where you quoted me above, I acknowledge implicitly that if the wrong quantities of individual terps are used in such products, then there could indeed be a problem for safety - some terps are demonstrably unsafe to inhale in certain quantities, exceeding those limits is not advisable. Of course, if the final product does not end up with demonstrably unsafe levels of a given compound/combination of compounds according to current research, then what is unsafe about that?

Also man, this is not the first time I've noticed you doing so and I must respectfully ask:

Please do not put words in my mouth as to what I may or may not be concerned about. FYI, I am solely concerned with medical use, as I am a medical user only.

I'd appreciate not having people publicly saying untrue shit about me in this way! Thanks in advance.

I obtained some of this within a week of your posting, but it would seem LP has at least 3 different labels they apply, in addition to the basic 'live resin' oils/shatter that they also make; which makes it difficult to converse with ignorant(I'm being polite) budtenders, when you are trying to find that specific 'budder/cake batter' consistency. Wasn't easy tracking it down, and I"m not sure it is from the same batch as you have/had @LCC, looks similar...not that this is definitive. Someday all meds will have manufacturing dates on them, someday :-(

I did however, fortuitously; at the same time come across as far better solvent strawberry banana batter. The April 2017 recent 1st place HT hybrid winner. I did my usual A/B comparison with dosing capsules in the Crafty...but I feel asleep on the bed and had put both capsules inside a bedside drawer. Opened that up after a few hrs...damn, night & day difference, the whole drawer reeked of that HT cup winner. Hard to describe, but terp/aromawise kind of like a strong vanilla bean + maybe a banana smoothie(not directly of banana taste, milder/more complex like a mixed fruit smoothie where the banana commonly dominates)

I'm planning to be in N. SD county this Thurs, I should send you the last of that tiny 0.5g; bc even with just a few small pieces...if you do a selfie-vid side by side, think that Cup winner is so much more aromatically 'exciting' I can see that face of yours cooing after a silent expressive face of sublime content "...just mindboggling, otherworldly intense...freakin Loud as Hell

^LP is on the right in the dosing capsule, as you see, GoldNugget is a paler shade of straw yellow.

Effects? Pretty much similar...as all varieties of the bottlenecked gene pool of hybrids posing as landrace/heirloom named 'strains' are too me.

If you want to get some of those extractioneering product line, they are recently available in N. SD, which is what I may pickup on Thurs. The Clementine flower used in the vial on the left, came from the collective I obtained these from. Now I have both Clem HTFSE & HCFSE (not as aromatic as I expected such a high-terp product to be), to compared with the very terpy high-CBD Clem sauce I got a sample from the full baller mason jars that Davenport Extracts had @Hitman grand-opening coffeeshop in LA(Asked Hitman CEO Doug if anyone had brought an sapphire enail, he said "no, did you bring one?" LOL, unicorn $300 dish, crowd of 200+ clusterfuck of vaping going on...sure man, sure man. CEO of Davenport was taking massive torce heated simple all glass rig hits that were making him cough even more than than this guy in this YT vid review,

it's around for sure. check out left coast we just got some killer stuff in from so dank extracts in sfv. i'll probably be getting after their stuff soon. but next week is more terpene preservation society terp sauce :D

Ha that's funny I just checked your menu and you guys have the best selection of rosin I've seen yet in SD. I live way out in north county though, it's mostly BHO on the menus here.

It's gotta be the terps. When I smell super dank terpy flower or oil, or get a flavorful big hit, I get what I call the "terp sweats" lol. I've also noticed that I really felt effects with rosin that was not as strong THC-wise as distillate or BHO that had a lot of the terpenes removed from the purging process. I kinda wanted get some isolated terpenes to see what's what but the prices were a bit off-putting. I didn't get the terp sweats just from rosin but it seemed to happen a lot more often with it than with most BHO, even quality stuff. Some of the really terpy extracts like Tangie crosses and Jack Herer crosses almost always gave me terp sweats lmao. And yeah, not an awful lot of big names out this way, there's some Loud Pack, Moxie, Nameless Genetics, Miss Nug Run, etc in NCSD but they're all almost exclusively BHO. Not an awful lot of rosin... if you have instagram I know @mad_hasher760 occasionally drops rosin and good melts around North County, and if you end up around San Diego proper, you could try @medisunfarms he may do patient to patient donations (he does single source bubble and rosin from SD to LA I believe, but mostly stays in the SD area). feelsbadman.jpg when you live in southern California but you're too "southern" California for people to make the trip down and get product down here ;)

I agree with all of this, I've been presuming terpenes for a while too for the same reason you mentioned, I've had very high THC percentage BHO, and even isolated THC, but the entourage effect from higher terpenes really seems to modulate the experience.

It's funny cause it's so true that there's a ton of stuff that gets cut off at LA and never makes it down. I still feel like we have great med selection, but yeah, not a ton of rosin, which I'm somewhat surprised didn't take off a lot harder considering the ease and simplicity and safety of the whole process; especially in SD which has such a healthy organic vibe, solventless meds seem so natural. I guess it just can't compare to the batch sizes people are blasting with on a commercial level.

Thanks for another great review of another great product.

But the first things I notice was the Hex-nail (yeah, brother!) and your new aerodynamic look (sans beard haha).

I look forward to your Hex-nail/Liger V3 review with great anticipation.

P.S. - @ccchase420, forgot to ask wrt to the strawberry-banana rosin. Any info on how it was made. I ask because its a wonderful light color and does not appear to have much plant matter in it at all. Was it squished from trichomes (keif) or whole plant? Any insight on post-squish processing to get that color and consistency?

probably good timing with the out of pocket issue, i've been slacking a little on the week to week grind of the show. that rosin was definitely pressed at a low temperature, probably under 230 using a finer screen to sort out the particulate. it's a flower rosin, so whole plant in that regard.

Nice review , weird though i just got the same live res in the same flavor and mine was darker in color and when i search the same product online all the pictures are darker colored like mine , your's is more white looking while mine is closer to orange.
