Doesn't alcohol encourage bleeding, too? Thins the blood or whatever? My dad is on blood thinners and can't drink, and the guy who did my tattoo also made sure I didn't drink before he did it so the ink wouldn't bleed out. I imagine it makes it harder for them to work if you're gagging on your own blood, lol.

I've found at times herb can intensify pain, ussually not. But I took a medible once after surgery, and it enhanced the pain. Personally I'd wait till your home and safe to try herbal theropy.
