Hi, the first picture is about my bong. I have updated it. Now it has one 14" adapter for the sublimator, and 2 adapters of 18" because I have 2 vrip.
You can add ice in the middle, and there can be 4 people vaporizing at the same time. And the final tube is very thing.

The second picture is about de vrip modified glass. It is empty in the middle. I modified the adaptor too: the 18" male has glass above and lots of small holes, and you do not use iron net.... just glass.

And the third picture it's me having some fun.

These pictures are old... I can't find better ones and my glass is at my friends house. Another day I will put better pictures (hopely this week).

Looks like my XLR 2.0 Monkey Controller finally died after 4 years. Just slightly tugged the wire by accident while pulling the rig closer which seems to have killed it. I have been wanting to upgrade to the new style Dabmaster and 3 hour controller kit so my XLR 2.0 Apollo kit is now for sale for anyone who wants the full stainless Fatboy 2.0 base and a 2.0 controller repair project. I have not been active enough here lately to use the sale board so PM me if interested. Moderators my apologies if this is not allowed.

If i had to guess, its probably because one of their manufacturing companies is having issues.

But like said, that is just my guess.

Maybe you’re right I thought they’d still be selling accessories at least. I’m okay I have a back up but I worry about others who might get the sudden calling of the Sub
I’d like to see them offer a one piece atomiser. The removal of those internal threads would make a huge difference to cleaning & I’m sure the 14 & 18mm spacers could still slide on.
If you don’t clean it regularly it becomes a one piece anyway.

Totally!! My 1st atomizer parts became separated apart and they became very loose / very wiggly to the point where new atomizer was required.

So yeah like you said, if they could manufacture it into 1 single piece that'd be perfect. I've found an alconox rinse every day or 2 after use will keep the threading good. Now if you let that sublimate oil sit around for awhile it will fuse the atomizer pieces together. Depending on how much oil is accumulated will determine if it effects flavor or not. But like you said, single piece atomizer would solve all the issues.

Does there exist a workaround for the Monkey Controller 2.0 during this drought on new controller stock? I've heard all about the dimmer switch but I am understanding it seems to only work on the original generation of sublimator.

The controller shorted out when the power jack was slightly tugged on accident and came partially unplugged from the controller. The controller no longer takes power from the brick which itself still lights up green. I reached out to the man himself Enrico on Instagram about getting a new 3.0 controller or a replacement 2.0 and he said both should be back in stock soon.

Planet Vape advised what the gentleman on the phone described as an "unusual small white fuse" that is known to eventually go bad on these and when replaced fully restores the controller. I opened mine up and sure enough there's a small white fuse that doesn't look too healthy next to the power wire solders. Check it out up close in the third photo. I will have to look up places in town that work on boards and might have the fuse.

I thought the whole board was fried.

Nice work!, that is a nano fuse. Id pop it out clean up and check the solder joints and source a new one. Then make sure the cable is reinforced somehow so that you can't tug it loose again.

You shouldn't have a hard time buying one yourself from a electronics component store. Just take the fuse with you so they can see what type you need.

When I asked Enrico on IG he said "soon" so there's that.

In the meantime Planet Vape was correct, the fuse was blown. I learned today that it is a "Littelfuse" 2 amp 125v fuse. The store I went to gave me one that got it working, but I noticed after a while the box was almost too hot to touch. Shut it down and pulled the fuse out and noticed it says "5A" as opposed to "2A" on the original. The store simply gave me the same brand of fuse but didn't check the rating. Apparently the extra 3 amps let way too much power through; hopefully nothing was damaged from the heat.

After a solid few hours of research I was able to identify the original fuse specifically as a Littelfuse 451 series 2A 125V "fast-acting" fuse (say that 5 times fast). They are available from sellers on eBay or there is a complicated distributor inventory checking system on the Littelfuse website. I just ordered the following:

Congratulations!, nice work finding the right one. I can't believe they gave you 5a when it clearly says 2a lol. How much was the fuse? Thats a nice cheap fix!

It was an older gentleman at a Flatscreen TV board repair shop so his eyesight may not have been too good and also my own fault for not comparing the two before leaving. They charged $9 for the wrong one at the store, and it was $5 for a 10pc of the right ones off eBay

I consider the $9 a fee for the circuitry lessons I got yesterday lol. Definitely an easy and cheap fix. I had honestly assumed my controller was fried after years of use but it really was just a fuse in my case. Many many thanks to the guy at Planet Vape that tipped me off to that problem, he technically didn't have to and could have just told me tough luck and buy a new one from us.

Now here's an interesting development. I just noticed today it seems the 1 hour timer programmed into the controller is no longer working. It just stays on as long as its left on now. I guess it was disabled by whatever blew the original fuse. I bet a lot of Sublimator owners would kill for this controller right now!

I really want a Dabmaster when they come back out. I will probably skip the tube this time, I am a much bigger fan of the 45mm glass.

A breath of fresh air in here. Looks really nice, they have certainly cleaned up the whole thing. Looks much better than the old version.

The other day I drilled out the hole in my atty, enlarged to 3.2mm. I can now ream a solid perfect fitting skewer through to make cleaning a bit easier and also improve the airflow as it clogs up pretty fast in there. Now I can get her pretty dirty and it still flows well. I like the flow better when clean and now it gives me a bit more time between cleans.

That’s a great idea, did you just use a bench drill & can you still unscrew the pieces or is it a nice easy to clean one piece now?

I just used a cordless drill and bench vice with some wood in it, It does not need to be too tight in the vice just tight enough. If it slips just stop and re-tighten slightly. I unscrewed everything to make it easier to drill and yeah it all screws back together the same.

Just need to drill slow and controlled use a slightly oversized drill bit then work your way up the drill bit sizes till your happy.

I'm not sure if I should buy a sublimator or not because there are so different opinions. My favorite vapes at the moment are flowerpot and sticky bricks hydromaxx. The price is not the problem but I don't want another vape which gets used twice a year like for example my evo.

The Sub is probably a lot like the flowerpot. I'd imagine it hits harder and tastes worse.

It takes 20 mins to properly heat up and has a time out. But it's very simple to use. It'll take you from 0-11 immediately. That's what it does, it's a device to get you properly wasted.
I don't think it'd do much more than the flowerpot, but it's been hard to find comparisons between those devices

Thanks for the link. I forgot about that thread but in the back of my mind I was thinking about it. Lots of conjecture there which makes a comparison hard to find. I think it boils down to what I said and you confirmed with experience

20 mins is a bitch no lie. I did just read someone guessing that the newer models make it 10. 20 mins is for full "sublimation" mode. You can use mine after 10 mins and get a tastier more convection based experience, but let me tell you - it's worth the wait. Plus it lasts hours. I let mine heat up the other night, turned it on, went back to bed, 36 mins later loaded two chambers back to back and I was totally immobilised back in bed straight after. No matter the tolerance, this thing hits hard.

I also read in that thread that the Sub is the one that really brings the maximum potential of vaping to the user. It's sort of all it does, but it's fucking amazing. If price is no issue, it's an issue not having one. They are damned expensive things
