strains with super thick vapor

so how thick the vapor looks definitely can vary. I've gotten this kandy kush and i keep worrying i'm combusting because of how thick the vapor looks.

any one else run into this with the kandy kush? or other strains? it's consistent with the whole batch at least. we'll see if it comes around again in a while, I'd get it again.

I know exactly what you're talking about....i'm getting it with alot of strains at the moment, but it's not the strain so much IMO but rather the grow, cure, etc. Batches of the same strain can change constantly, and I think it's the very high quality well cured crystally frosty buds that pump out that combustion smoke looking vapour that tastes like heaven!

that's what i've known all along. but i never thought any of it looked like it might be smoke other than when i've actually combusted or specifically with this batch of kandy kush. And it isn't especially better than anything else in general as far as the effects, JUST amazingly thicker vapor than anything else

my hunch is that it has a particular terpene that makes for visible vapor more than others do. It does have a particularly pungent smell / taste.

Remember thick vapor doesn't equal, medicates well. Don't want to rain on anybody's parade. I've had shit weed with big vapor clouds, horrible flavor and didn't medicate

Indoor grown is better than outdoor for vaping imo. The elements do a number on the thrichomes.

I think it is based on strain and grow, cure, etc. You can have the best genetics and have a terrible product due to technique. The opposite is also true.

I also agree with Carol. I've had shit with great vapor production.
Generally, medical grade provides best amount of vapor and effect. Kushes seem to do well at both.

Soooo true. What's also true is that bud that looks all crystally and smells great in the jar does not necessarily equate to "medicates well"................and visa versa.

My current stash has pretty condensed buds. It is dry to the touch and grinds finely, but after the first hit in my vape, it is super sticky and and I am milking huge clouds.

The 2 strains that have given extra clouds are Jack The Ripper and the winner by a country mile is Skywalker OG.

To go the opposite way I have some OG Kush at the moment and although it medicates very nicely it seems to not produce the thickest of vapor.

I just saw this thread and I'd have to say the heaviest output of vapor from any strain I've had is GSC. It gives off vapor till you can't take it due to harshness. Massive clouds, but at this moment I have an entirely different batch of GSC than my normal and it yields less vapor than nomal

Yeah! Afghan style, dark, sticky hashish on high temp gives big clouds.

And also a lot of the Indica strains are good vapour wise.

But honestly, I get good clouds with almost anything.

Bubba kush, while not my favorite bud (dry and dense) vapes very nicely. Big clouds and a decent stone. While this Cali Gold that I have is extremely pungent and hairy, it does not produce very thick clouds. Gets me wrecked though

just finished up the last of my Skywalker Og. It gave some pretty big size vapor clouds and it medicated very well. It was more potent after it sat in the CVault for few weeks. I was disappointed when I first got it. I guess more curing time was needed.

My homegrown Green Crack produces some massive clouds, probably the most dense of all since I started vaping........gets me wrecked too

kush strains in general produce a lot of vapor IME. some other good ones: sensi star, afghan, ak 47, white rhino, hash plant, jasmine, Northern lights, green crack

some strains that produced less for me that come to mind are: lemon haze, blueberry, durban poison, sour diesel, bubble gum, blueberry x Northern Lights

but more importantly is the quality of the genetic and the ability of the grower. you could very well have fantastic genetics, but if the grow isn't optimal the result won't be either. works the same way round too though. crap genetics with the best grower will not make optimal results either.
