Funny, the other night I was at a friends house and we were using his bong with some of his herb. Well we packed a bowl of his herb in my VG and it tasted like salsa. And not in a good way. It was horrible, I could barely toke it, it tasted like eating burnt popcorn dipped in salsa, however combusted it tasted fine so I'd say that vaporizers definitely do bring out the flavour in a strain, for better or worse
