Straining bud, what tools/materials?

Hi,
I'm looking for an easy, inexpensive way to "filter" some bud.

It would needed for a couple methods:
1. infusing ABV or virgin bud in coconut oil. Small loads like 5- 8 grams and want something where it's
easy to get the coconut oil squished out at the end from the wet buds. Especially for ABV, it would have to
contain powder.

2. something for possibly "water curing" 5-8 grams. Something like a big tea bag??? I'm thinking of doing like 7 distilled water soaks, change each day, but not pressing the wet herb between each soak. FYI, pressing out all the water on each cycle seems to be the recommended practice BUT why break up all the trichs?? Then a very low dry in the oven at 120 F. Then infuse in oil after the water cure has removed the heavy smell/taste. Hopefully get some neutral tasting oil :)

For pressing small amounts try a lever action garlic press.

Google tea infusers.

Once you have done your water cure, skip the oven dry and just add coconut oil to the wet cannabis then cook for your decab.

For extracting the oil from a cannabis coconut infusion I:
  • Fold the cheese cloth over the material.
  • If the oil needs topping up a little due to losses during the cooking and straining processes then add it now.

For water curing:
I put the bud in a cafetiere coffee maker filled with distilled water. I used the plunger to keep the bud down even when emptying the water.

I swapped the water daily until it no longer discoloured or had any odour.

After the wash/cure I put the bud out on a paper towel in front of a small fan, it dried out very quickly.

You might be able to use the cafeteria to strain oil out of your mixture as well but the potato ricer let's you put a lot of force into the procedure, far more than the cafeteria would allow you to.

For water curing: ....

Having never done water curing, does it really remove the grassy/yucky taste from herb so that when you infuse it into oil, the oil does not taste and smell like crap??? Yet it still remains potent??
Thanks
