I have two of these, one for indicas and one for sativas. They are ever so slightly too small for a 1/4th as I found out yesterday. :/ I'm tempted to pick up two of their Satchmo's. They're great though, zero smell and they fit easily into my Haze case.

Those look really handy, kakaxxot. Probably a bit too small, as you suggested.

I tried looking for Jayrz Satchmos, but I couldn't find anything. Are the Satchmos made by another company?

Satchmos are by JyARZ.
Cllassic and Satchmo pictured below. Satchmo is the bigger/wider one.
Some are taken apart to show glass liner, gaskets, etc.
Red Solo cup and SCS small grinder to show relative size.

EDIT for Narrow---in my pic, the SCS grinder has a diameter of 2.1".

LOL! I was just getting ready to post that I had found them. Have to spell it right. DUH. Thanks for the info, MinnBobber.

That stocky glass one looks good, but it's hard to know how big it is. I'm not a math whiz when it comes to translating ounces into actual size. Maybe the website has dimensions.

I like the Bots I posted above really well, but I am not sure they are stainless steel on the inside. The finish inside is dull, not like a brushed steel. Very handy size, however, and seal well. Off to explore...

Those look great. And they make even smaller ones, too. I've got a Container Store nearby, so I can check these out. I've got some reeker stuff, and not matter how many Zip Loc bags I put around it, I cannot get rid of the smell! I think one of these would do the trick.

Problem with those jars from the container store is the light and UV issue. If you want to keep it super fresh it needs to be in the dark with no damaging UV light filtering in.

The satchmo will hold roughly a quarter of an ounce I have found in the past and are very good containers.

You could also look into the cannador aluminium storage container too which has built in Humidity regulation via a bead system. They come in single and double sizes, waterproof to 20 feet and smellproof, but more expensive than the above options :)

I, too, keep my reserve in Mason jars with a Boveda 62% humidity pak, and then I place them in an old dorm refrigerator, set on very low. I figure refrigeration (not freezing) might help keep it "fresher" (I feel like an ad).

I totally agree with the Bovedas. I use the 62's also. An absolute must

I keep my long term storage jars out of the light and in a cool 65 degree area of the house.

Try FoodSafe vacuum bags they're like $1 each bag n the electric pump is 10. They're reusable. I can never smell through n mines pretty loud. The vacuum is just a plus. Zip lock storage bags for shirts all the way up to giant bags cut down smell n they have a pump spot u can suck on n push air out n vacuum more out if you want really easy.

Just picked up some Ball Jars that were made for "Dry Herb"

No grooves in the glass like the standard Mason Jars = no more lost Trichomes! very tight - fitting lids that are black, and a snap on lid feature built into said lid...

*Perfect for Hash curing!!**

These are essentially high end spice jars.

I'm a huge fan of these, Roger D, Wasn't getting much love on the board till you came along.

I just love mine. A little tricky for arthritic hands, but definitely doable. Love 'em. Great size.

The integrity of the seal on these is very inconsistent, as is the air tight seal.

I love the Miron glass jars, but also LOVE my mason jars.
Air tight, a variety of shapes and sizes, can by them at any Target or Walmart, and VERY economical. Just put them in a drawer or closet to protect from the light.

Either of these, with the addition of the Boveda 62's(didn't Boveda come out with a new pack specific for cannabis?), and your storage needs are well taken care of.

And my favorite jar, Black Glass, no static cling... This is the jar I put my weeks' worth of meds in, a few buds from a variety of strains , holds 3 grams, but I only put about a gram to 1.5 grams per week.

The rest of the stash remains in my safe.

This allows me to ration out my supply, setting a standard of no more than 1.5 grams per week, but I always have at least 0.5 left at refill time.

Pretty insane, as I used at least 1.5 grams a day before I started Vaping.

I use kilner jars and have always been happy with the seal.
I have just harvested my first crop and thought I'd try those boveda 62 packs. Iv cured plenty of weed by feel and burping before. Does anyone know how much weed 1 of the 8 gram packs will manage. Or another way, how many packs would I need per 50 gram jar. Any advise would be appreciated thanks.

I use 1 Boveda 62% pak for up to 2 ounces (the most I cram in a quart Mason jar). Seems to work great up to year (so far). And you can "recharge" paks by putting a wet sponge or like in a ziplock with a solid, spent pak.

You can buy empty, new paint cans from paint stores. The 1 qt size works with 2 ounces. I use these containers, too.

I had never bought more than a $50 bag until recently when I bought an ounce. I quickly found that the SMELL was not only thoughout my apartment, but was all over the stairwell. Just entering the building I could smell it immediately AND MY WINDOWS WERE OPEN!

As a temporary measure (which I have yet to update) I threw the herb into the small Pyrex bowls I have, then into the refrigerator. No more smell!

After I grind I have been using the Space Case storage containers. So far, so good...
