Fine grind with a slight tamp.
It's pretty good for butane as I would not expect digital quality of hits from it.
Another thing to learn is as the torch empties, the flame changes which affects technique... LOL!
It's a vicious circle!

I don't use the little honest torch as I can't get them to heat to vaporisation without being turned up so high that they don't extinguish till a couple of seconds after I have released the button, and I don't like that, so I use a fatter flamed dab style/kitchen torch which does the trick admirably.

A week has passed for my bricks. Now I can say with confidence - these are the best devices through which I smoked weed. I liked runt. convenient and efficient. but og is a real fierce beast. doing incredibly strong punches. and of course the restrictor disc is inserted inside and I am no longer worried about the fear of combust. my partners and friends when I gave them a try they could not restrain their emotions. New orders from Russia with love! after so many years of smoking, I wonder why I didn’t find you before)) great success for you only forward and not a step back @StickyBricks

Trying something new as I'm taking a month long break from cannabis. Packed a bowl of cbd flower into the SBrunt, put the runt mp back in, and let her rip.
As much as I don't like the taste of cbd, the effects out of the brick with CBD is impressive. Can't wait to throw some cured home grown into the brick in a month. Cheers homies!

Anyone tried the new 2019 flip brick? I love the design of the flip but was originally turned off by the old flip having a bigger learning curve than the other bricks. Was thinking about going with the jr instead but with the 2019 flip it looks like the intake may be as long as the jr meaning the learning curve shouldn’t really be any different than the jr. Thoughts?

The old Flip Brick air path is longer than a Jr. I just took the bottom off on the Jr and placed the Flip with the intake to the intake and it is slightly longer. The bricks are pretty much the same once you have your technique down. I had the Jr first and had some problems adjusting to the bent intake coming from the straight intake of the OG. I was able to use the Flip Brick pretty easy since coming from Jr. I also put a Runt mouthpiece on the Jr and that made it easier to see the vapor forming.
They are both great units that hit hard.

Thanks for the info! Strange I’ve heard most reviewers claiming the flip was the hardest to master. Sounds like the Flip ‘19 may be the way to go for me then. I’m used to mostly using glass at home with my dynavap M and Vapexhale EVO so I think the Flip would fit in better with the crew.

Yes I have read that also. Perhaps it was their first brick or were not experienced. Keep in mind that you want a medium size glass with a somewhat small can so you can control vapor easier. You are watching the vapor entering the glass but you don't want such a large can that you can't judge the edge of combustion.

I think it's safe to say that the first flip brick is indeed the hardest brick to master. I know I'm not the only one to come to that conclusion. I've even discussed it with Kenny @ SB and he concurs.
I've not yet tried the flip 2.0, but I have one here now and I plan on giving it a go this evening. I'll report back later.

Hey @Stu and @lazylathe. I just remembered that I've seen both of you as contributors to the Supreme thread. How would you two compare the supreme to the brick lineup?
So I just ran two fat bowls through the new Flipper and found it much easier to drive than the previous model. It's stupid easy to get thick milky vapor without going too far with this one. Got me pretty damn faded. I'm sure the restrictor disk played a big role as well (I didn't have the restrictor disk in my OG Flip). I give it two stoned thumbs up.

The bricks require some technique whereas the Supreme does not. Having said that, experienced Brick users can expect very similar vapor to what you get from the Supreme IME.

If you have your technique down 100% of the time and can run your SB just as well on your 5th hit as your 1st and have consistent results, then you will have almost the same results.
The SV4 is always at the correct temp and always extracts just like the bowl before it and the hundred bowls before and after that hit. Learning curve is minimal and it is a heavy hitting vape that is my DD. Almost a year of solid use and not one issue or even a hint of combustion. ABV is always the same color.
At the end of the day I require consistent results that can be replicated day after day and the SV4 provides that perfectly for my needs.
I do have a Runt and 2019 flip Brick on the way as well...lol! Variety is the spice of life!

You'll dig the runt. I use mine daily through water, or if it's cbd, I'll use it dry. Sounds like you've got both dry and water covered.

Just received my 2019 Black Limba from @Sneaky Pete !!
The FB came with a restrictor disc and I wanted to throw one in my OG.
It does not fit in the hole...LOL!
Must be an older one. Would you happen to know when you changed the hole diameter?
Just curious as to it's age.
On another note, prefer the FB without the restrictor plate.
May modify one of mine to see if it improves performance by removing the threading and smoothing the barrel out. When using it, I always seem to get a small hotspot in the same place, thinking it could be the swirling effect caused by the threading.

You can put the Restrictor up into the glass rather than down through the hole. Vaguely, I’m guessing your OG is at least 12-14 months old if the hole is too small. While all the devices we have in stock have the larger hole, I can only imagine the difficulty retailers have maintaining inventories for all the various devices and parts. If anyone gets a new device from one of our retailers that has the old hole diameter and wants the hole enlarged, we will gladly take care of it for the cost of shipping, no bench charges.

Been pretty slow around here. Anyone have any experience with the mini sticky bubbler, with either the Jr or runt? I haven't seen a single video of anyone using one and it's been something I've been interested in for awhile.

As promised, here is the first hit of some El Chapo flower in my Black Limba 2019 Flip Brick, @StickyBricks
The bowl was about half full of fine ground herb, courtesy of the @Grinders for Life Brilliant Cut Grinder!
Using my old Honest torch, using the angled down flame discovery.
This thing continues to amaze me!
Also included is a pic of the bowl after the hit. I had to use the flash to see inside the bowl, so the colors are more sever than they actually are. A quick stir and the bowl was slightly darker with 2 more hits.
