Sticky Brick Junior by Sticky Brick Labs

Infinite realities, infinite possibilities
I dropped my intake recently. My bad, was fidgeting with it above stone tiles...

Bended section came clean off. Yet still works perfectly fine. Charring might occur a bit more often but was expecting a bigger effect.

So all is well. As soon as @VapoShop has the junior glass in stock I'm restocking multiple sets of each glass piece.

Have my junior for 6 months now, yesterday loading up some cheese, the SBJ made me lick my lips in a reflex of getting more of that delicious flavour. What a vape. Keeps surprising me.

So @VapoShop got back to me. They responded fast and very friendly and professional but unfortunatly they let me know that there is only 30 days warranty for the glas parts and i won t get a new intake for free which disappoints me a bit as i am very sure it was no user error which made it crack.

The Brick is still working though...

Have a nica day!

so i'm thinking about a sbj ... i like the canary wood but heard about the colors bleeding out when hot? could that pose a problem? also how well do the s&b dosing capsules work with the sbj? does it hinder the performance at all?

also ... is canary wood sustainable? i would prefer a sustainable wood ... thanks

Are those pictures posted in this thread?

I don't know about the canary or its background but if you want to play the safe sustainable card I would opt to buy a walnut, as it is probably locally sourced, cherry could be the same, US sourced.

Cheers, get one, you will love it.

i'm not sure if the pics were on fc (i'll try and find them)

cherry is my second choice if i decide not to go with the canary

I originally asked about the sap bleeding out because it occurs with my canary wood UD but then the UD gets much hotter overall. You should be ok, if it does sweat a bit of red resin it'll likely only occur around the intake as @paehtod stated.

thanks for letting me know ... i have been scouring the web trying to find the reference but kept using sticky brick in the search!

i have just received my SB Junior: first 2 tries i forgot to block the carb hole so i understood i was doing something wrong.
But the third time, and not knowing how to regulate the draw, i took a gigantic hit full of flavour.
While coughing like mad i was saying to myself "ok, now i get it! that's definitely the one!"
What a wonderful tool!

Yep, flavour wise I know no torchable that can compare.
Experimenting i found out i prefer the drawing tube upside down (shortest part in the SBJ, longest part as intake.)
To aim properly (little farsighted...) i turn around the flame pipe too, so that the two tubes are facing me (well, the flame pipe at a 45° angle).
Other advantage, in that position you can't make the mistake to touch the burning pipe (and with the strength and quality of the hits i wouldn't trust myself with that new toy... i was having good results and then nothing... i forgot i had cleaned it to see how burnt the weed was.. the reason why i was only drawing hot air. Really a heavy hitter)

Just a recommandation for the europeans, I bought it at Vapefiend the UK shop online, with a good price 120€ shipped, arrived in Italy in 3 days.

I got my first Blazer torch to use with my SBJr. It's the CG-001 and it works great.

I got it off Amazon; the best part? The orange one was $40 CAD. It was $50 for a while and I watched it drop. Funny while some other colours are double the price. Also FREE shipping unlike other choices as well. This is the most affordable Blazer torch worth considering IMO.

It has a nice strong flame. No noticeable flatulence. I had it dialed down as low as it could go and I was getting nice low to medium hits. Once I dialed it up to 1/3 to 1/2 way, I was clearing bowls real nice.

It does have a cap that you need to manually flick open or closed. But it's a nice dome cap; and once it's back on, you can hold it in your hand comfortably or put it in your pocket while it cools down. Nice feature.

Using this torch just for the SBJr, I don't think the PB207CR 'The Torch" would be necessary.

I feel a tad clumsy right now.
somehow my SBjr does not close any more. It is not damaged.

without mouthpiece it closes properly. With mouthpiece jammed in as deep as possible (and of cause orientated properly) it does not close 100% - it will stay open, around 5mm.

I wonder why: does someone has a idea?

otherwise great vape!

still did not made up my mind what I prefer: Daisy, Lily or SBjr

i suppose you looked into the hole to see if there's nothing fallen in it that would push the tube up?

i'm really impressed with the Junior, such a great device.
Made me think about a mind blowing #piperizer that could be if StickyBricksLabs made a "real" HydroMax with a bubbler integrated (like the format of a little bandit or even slightly bigger, or even separated in two bowl, one for the water and the other with the vapour filtrated)
Imagine the convenience of going around with a Piperizer/bong without resorting to big cumbersome bongs.
It could also be a StickyBricks module with a bigger bubbler that would fit in the output: you take your current tube out and clip the bubbler module perpendicularly to the normal SBJ.
Something in the spirit of Ddave Mod could be great...
There's a lot of of potential with this product (even a little bubbler that could be adapted to the current SB Junior like this Fury2's solution:

Actually, wouldn't that bubbler fit in the current SB Junior already?
If it doesn't it may be for some poor mm

Could the wooden top have swollen or changed form?

Can you show it in some photos?

I hope it's nothing serious ..

Did it come like this or did it stop closing? check all surfaces are clean including the lid

I will post some pics soon.
However I can say for sure that there are no objects / etc stuck in the holes / cap. If it had be dirt, sparkled herb or whatnot it had to be a serious mass to prevent the mouthpiece from beeing pushed down completely..
used a toothpick to verify. Empty. Only lovely cedar wood.

You guys are making me think a SB or SBJ would be a good next vape since I tend toward cloud chasing with all my vapes. Is there an existing post or thread or review that covers the difference between the SB and the Junior? Is the full sized brick cooler? The big mouthpiece is comforting in the pix.

Thanks!

Sneaky Pete seems to think it produces a cooler vapour.
At 7:16 in this video:
I do prefer the Junior (for now...) as it fits perfect in hand.
But i must admit that big tube is very appealing.
I really hope StickyBricksLabs will make a StickyBrick with a bubbler integrated, it would be a must have.

edit:
i swear i don't know anyone at StickyBricks, nor have i ever known they were working on something like that bubbler.
But just have a look at that beauty:

I already know i'll buy that thing! (even if 169$ for the glass is a tad pricey)

Has someone been able to check if the furys bubbler fits the SBJ?

Sound like a great variation indeed! Yet I think the spacing between the two glass tubes is too narrow for the wood.

@Phenix: Perhaps the lid is backwards? Try rotating it 180° and see if it fits. The magnets on each side have opposite polarity so it is impossible to close it if the lid is not oriented right.

Even though I know this myself, sometimes I try to put the lid on backwards and it doesn’t fit, and I will have a brief moment of panic before I realize it’s just backwards.

Edit: I just realized you said it closes fine without mouthpiece.
