I've never combusted in any bricks thus far. It really doesn't seem that tricky to avoid. And the only time I ever combusted in a vapcap was missing the cool down click when I was first learning it. Fuck combustion.

When I first started using my brick I got close with scorching a few times but I got lucky. Now with my technique I don’t think it’s possible. I’m on auto-pilot with it now. I think the folks who combust either draw too slow or jam the entire flame into the intake. Or a mix of the two. I might let the tip of the outter flame tickle the opening of the intake but that’s about it. I use my taste buds tell me what to adjust. Too hot and I pull the flame back and inhale harder. If it’s too cool I slow down and move the flame in small circles until I taste the herb then vary my inhale and flame until it’s optimum. I dunno, it’s just how I do it. Others might find success with a different technique. But I’ve never combusted.

I'm not too proud to say I've combusted, both during learning and since.
Most have come later in sessions when not paying attention, or when adjusting to a torch, but it happens.
Either way, I enjoy the journey, I hope others keep the same mentality

Fine tuned my technique on the Flip Brick before getting a Jr. So to me the Jr is almost combustion proof in comparison.
I have a PSA about some crappy tasting butane. Been using Vector in all my torches with no problems. Picked up a can of Puretane and holy shit....
First time I could taste butane from first inhale.
Purged and refilled with fresh Vector and back to normal.
Avoid the baby blue can near your Sticky Bricks.

My SBJ will be here Monday. I can't wait to throw some OG in and flame away. I've been using a Vapcap for my vaping and wanted a different experience to supplement a cap. Love the butane style caps and don't think I'm too fond of the electronic ones.

I’m exactly the same. I have 2 Vaps (Omni and M) and a SBJr. Depending on my mood I switch around which I use. And sometimes I use both lol. Viva la butane vapes! You’ll love the SBJr.

got the Spanish Cedar SBJ on last Thursday from a FC member, I am quite regret that why I don't get it earlier
Tasty, smooth and cool vapor, hit hard, tasty again, hit very hard, OMG
play with it intensively in these few days, love it so much!
There is a little side store: My wife hate my VAS, every time I show her my new Vape , she always have some questions. This time I also try to show the SBJ to and try to impress her, she asked me its wood and glass, will the glass break if I drop it? Good question, I love the SBJ, the glass mp was so thick, I feel very confident with it, I drop the mp intentionally to my wooden floor, may be 2 feet high, the mp was broke to 2 part. I feel like I am a kind of the most stupid kid who broke their new toy, my wife laugh so hard.
I repaired the glass mp with some glass glue, seems ok, temporarily..... Replacement ordered and waiting for delivery.
So....... I love my SBJ

The SBJ and a Dynavap are a killer combo. I just received mine yesterday. My honest lighters torch won't turn off when I release the button. Only way is to turn off the butane on bottom. Am I doing something wrong or faulty lighter?So...... I am on board here too

In my experiences, your honest lighter must be turned to too large flame output. Try turn it to completely closed, and then turn 1/4 of the circle and ignite to check the flame until reach your desired flame size.

I've broken both my flame intake and mp on separate occasions. After receiving the OEM replacements, I found out about the all black set from Sneaky Pete's.
So my my new originals are my backups.
Exactly, i also bought the black set as replacement from Sneaky Pete
Am i doing it correctly? I see everyone said inhale faster, small flame close to the flame inlet, i tried and get no cloud only hot air, even a serious combustion to white ash, first time ever, never happen before in my vapcap, when combusted in vapcap, its completely dark black, but its like burn to ash in my SBJ, luckily there is no more smell after few more bowl. I get the best result with little large flame but only the light blue flame pointing at the inlet, inhale very slow and steady, when i see vapor coming i remove the flame and inhale fast, get the tasty and even ABV. Fantastic
EDIT: forget to mention that must listening to the sound of the flame, when the angle is correct, the sound will change.

That rooftop definitely my best vape spot, when i work tired in office or feeling good or sth, i get some drink and go roof top take a break, I love roof top in HK, better air and sunlight, no people around, feel better in the concrete jungle. No worry i only put my vape on the parapet wall when i help them take photo, i am very be careful.

I think every one here should have butane can, there is some little useless adapter in the cap, I found they have some use now, some of them fit perfectly for the SBJ carb, and the red color also look nice with the spanish cedar. I don't know to cover the carb at the begining, i have a bowl with no cloud but totally have spent. haha...
Hi @MrMonss , they have same operation system, I think DLX is more portable and fit the bong, SBJ have better less harsh vapor because the vapor path longer and more bend.
I learn the heating technique from DLX first, and then applied to SBJ and have improved, and now applied the improved technique to DLX, I have improved again, I like them both.
