I will try that and re watch any thing to see about that. And I'm trying more with the J hook.
Appreciate the help fellas. I'm trying to get on the SB wagon but having terrible trouble

Isn't here nobody out of the area of @VisiblyVaped who would teach him to use that thing properly?

7 bowls up to now? Not so much for the SB learning courve in my experiences.
You don't have to be so eager for big and tasty clouds in the beginning. Careful, step by step.....
Go just for flavours in the beginning and increase heating slowly, how said, it's a very thin line between delicious vapour heaven and combusting while using a SB

At least a gram, probably more, wasted. Yes, 7 loads. The line between flavor heaven and combustion hell is so fine it runs together, and cloud city doesn't seem to even be on the map for me

Hey VV, try this, it's what I wrote up a while back for someone else.....

Cork your carb, pack light and fluffy full, then just tap it to even out. Set your flame low and about 2"away, start with a slow draw and bring in the flame a little bit at a time.....

You may not get anything the first few breaths, that's good, you're moving slow then. Continue in until you feel the heat and hover right there, take note of flame strength and distance from intake.

Stir after every hit, it lets you see what you're doing.

If you play slowly around where you feel heat, you'll get vapor, and once you start to feel it, it gets easier!

Hang in there and take a hit off another if you need to, it's ok :tup:

I can see where much of that can help, but more effectively with the jr than the flip.
I don't know why, but far less users seem to have that much trouble with the og or jr compared to the flip. I've spent the weekend searching threads and that's what I've found. I can only assume that's the shorter flame intake

Just got my SBJ in. Before I fire her up, is it normal to have these little splinters in the holes & be rough around the edges like this ?

I feel like whenever I've seen a poster come on having issues they eventually get a really good hit and then it suddenly clicks and they are in love with it. I hope your story turns out the same way.

The best trick I've learned to avoid combustion was from @Vapor_Eyes to inhale quicker/harder when you start seeing vapor. I don't do that all the time, just when I'm not sure about my hit. Especially on the times I do it through water, it's tougher to get a feel for the temp of the hit that way to me.

Tried out my new junior for the 1st time last night. My favorite thing about it so far ? The signature! Loving the signature! Haven't had any wood taste I can detect.

I'll have to hit the trails in in the next couple days & take some pictures of it. There's a face on the top portion w/ stoned eyes & a sloppy grin. :ko: It's like I'm looking in the mirror!
