My apology for the double post mods, but the thread had gone silent and I wanted to update my last post.

Ordered on Thursday 1.5.17 and received on Monday 1.9.17.

Rushed home from work like a total idiot, barely covered the screen with a medium ground blue dream and began my learning curve.

Bad news:
I was outside in 23 degree weather so I could see every breath I took.
This hindered me being able to read the success of my technique.

Good news:
Apparently my technique was pretty good because I am flying.

I got the cedar and I could definitely taste it. This however could be from overheating the glass as I tried different torch positions.

I did duck inside for one hit and was pleased with the volume of cloud it generated.

Testing will take a while because those couple of hits really pack a wallop.

Very impressed so far.

I had a very similar experience with my first go with the walnut jr. I could really taste the wood. It's faded nicely though. When you can dial in the torch technique perfectly I've been rewarded with some of my very biggest coolest hits I've had.

What's crazy is the very one thing I really enjoy is the fact that it's just like my days of smoking pipes. What I find is a hindrance is its harder to conceal that I'm smoking a pipe. I know it makes no sense.

I do find myself struggling to duplicate the perfect hit every time. I do think eventually I'll get to that point. I'm just not there yet.

Hi everyone. The SBJ has really caught my eye and attention. I love to look and workings of this little thing, do sticky brick labs deliver to Europe?, if so was delivery expensive and did customs give you any bother.

I can't seem to find a supplier anywhere other than the U.S & Canada

As others have stated, @VapeFiend.com carries the Junior. They received a fresh drop not too long ago!

You'll get it! And that's my favorite part, emulation of pipe smoking.

Often nearly at combustion or just some really tasty draws w/o any visible vapor. Its a fine line to get long tasty and milky draws. But its a nice experience and I like my lessons very much.

I know it can take a little time but once you get it down it is easy to duplicate. It's just a lot of memory as well. I always tell SBJ users if they are scorching the load turn the flame down a bit and slow your draw a bit. Now that carb hole can either be throttled or not. Try without throttling. let us know!

I'm still trying to perfect my technique as well. @Vapor_Eyes tips have been working great for me, and have yielded some huge tasty hits, but I'm still struggling to repeat those results every time. As soon as I feel it, I really pick up the pace. Doing this gives me a very even roast and monstrous flavorful low temp vapor. Those first hits always taste amazing, but as the terps boil off the walnut taste is more noticeable. Although, it doesn't taste bad to me, and it's faded quite a bit with each use. I haven't combusted with it, and I've only charred 2 or 3 times, and that was just trying to take it further because I usually get lighter abv from it. I have however gotten a slight bit of charring under the intake. I was aware of that issue before I got the Jr, so I'm not worried, but I still plan to keep my eye on it since that's been my only real point of concern with the Sticky Brick line. But all in all, I've had a lot of fun with this thing. These are some awesome vapes!

Someone earlier in the thread referred to the last hits as tasting like a dark roast coffee and i think thats the perfect way to describe it. I had the walnut and cherry and can attest to both exhibiting that flavor at the end of a session.
But the Walnut had a much stronger presence that you could smell right out of the box. There was far less smell with the cherry version, which was also more subtle/neutral on the taste buds when hitting fresh herbs. And call me crazy but I think the cherry looks better.
I too have trouble toeing the line between underheating and charring, but only on the final hits or the small microdose 1-hitters. The easiest, most glorious hits happen with >0.05-0.15 in the chamber.

Thats why I settled on the cherry. To me the Walnut had a much stronger presence that you could smell right out of the box. There was no such smell with the cherry version, which was also more subtle/neutral on the taste buds. Still alittle woody, just not as much. Even after some prolonged use and reduced woodyness, the walnut version is still going to taste woodier than the cherry.
And call me crazy but I also like the look of the cherry more.

I agree, by most accounts I've seen, cherry seems to impart the least amount of flavor, followed by maybe the spalted maple. Walnut definitely seems the strongest. Cherry was out of stock on PIU when I ordered and I don't personally care for the look of the maple. Walnut is probably my favorite TBH so I wasn't upset. And as I said, I don't mind the taste (which I could best describe as sort of citrusy) and it's faded with each use. I really don't taste it now until the end of the bowl, and it's still not that bad IMO

Regard to charring. I've read this advice on a pipesmoker forum:
If there are any charrings fill up this area completely with salt. Let it soak with iso and rest mixture over night (aka a few hours). Iso looses charrings and its smell and taste and the salt absorbs it while Iso is vaporizing.
Didnt tried it myself but think it could work.

3 days into my cedar Sticky Brick Junior.
Here it is in a fairly accurate color representation:

Not a trace of any scorching.

I've only been doing tiny bowls and feel more comfortable already.
However, today I filled the bowl up. My thinking is that since it is purely convection, the vapor should still be pretty tasty throughout the day.

After loading it up and working my mad torch skills, I got the biggest hit I've had in years.

Of course I had to try again and again.

I am totally flabbergasted.
I've used all of the top electronic vapes and this thing absolutely blows all of them out of the water.

Wood taste is fading but the taste it imparts on the material is incredible.

The only downsides are stealth factor when in use (none) and both the inlet glass and torch can get pretty damn hot.

I do feel like I've burned my battery bra though. And for that I am very thankful.

I'm hosting poker this month and can't wait to show it off.

Really tremendous vape.
I can't recommend it highly enough.

Yes they fit like a glove and for me they work good with big torches (up to 4flames)

These days I prefer single flame and stock screen

Nice feature there is no more filter clogging and stirring is very effective ( rotate once, flip it and rotate twice for 4 quality hits

Taste is better without capsule though.

I really didn't get that impression. To me the only difference in taste is there's slightly less woodiness/slightly more neutrality with the capsules.

And I still get screen clogging with the capsules and ground herb, the herb makes it through the capsule holes pretty easily and litters up the screen underneath. I still have to clean/change my screen on a regular basis.

I, too, ordered a cedar Junior, and I think about the same time, so yes. Been fighting off a cold so I've restrained my usage, but the fear of scorching still has me getting low-temp barely visible hits. Effects are STRONG even so! But looking forward to re-reading the technique tips and trying more seriously when this bug departs.

As an aside, I love the way the cedar looks and smells. Just great!

I don't think we need to fear it. I haven't come close.

Typically the blue tip of the torch is in the hole. Blue flame is between 3/4-1" long.

I leave the carb plugged for my entire hit. In fact, I am considering getting a tiny cork for a longer term solution.

The onboard tool storage gets in the way a bit and I've already broken my first toothpick. I bet someone really smart could get more space for the tool(s) in the lid.

The toothpick is nice, but the metal tool included is nicer. It would really be an accomplishment to get that metal tool and a brush like the S&B brush on board and in the lid.

Maybe it was my use style (more aggressive than without capsule, bigger torch)

Capsule act like a small heat shield though and also as a "conduction" source..

I plan on buying one of these to accompany my OG Sticky Brick, "The Brick." I am thinking about taking this one on planes with me. The fact that there is no battery means no Department of Homeland Security hassles about batteries below the plane in the cargo area. A little isobutane mini torch and I will be flying high on my business trips. ;-)

As i noticed my other wooden vapes become a bit smelly over time, goes the same for the brick?

I'm still on the fence between the OG and the Jr.
I don't really need portability, but I would not be a negative to be able carry around easily.
My portable options are the vapman and dynavap.
I usually don't requiere a lot of bud and like to microdose.
Dang it. I really like them both.

Edit: is the tri-tone still available for purchase?
And how thick is the glass of the Jr? I saw the drop-test of the OG and that was impressive.

I own both a Max and Jr. and I can honestly say 9/10 times I go for the jr. over the maxx. IMO the jr. Can deliver bigger rips. Also seems to be much easier to combust while using the Maxx.

Then I would recommend the OG Brick. It is also quite small and very easy to transport at home.

While I had the Nibbler XL attached to my Jr I got dangerously close to combustion a few times. I think the water removes to much heat and I had a hard time judging.
