Stealth concerns, do Vaporizers smell?

Hey guys, I'm looking for some help. I currently live with my parents and I'm interested in purchasing a Magic Flight Launch Box to use in my bedroom. My parents aren't strict or anything but I'd rather keep anything weed related to myself. As far as I know, this Vaporizer is ideal for what I need but I have one concern, smell. If I were to use the Launch Box in my room, would there be a noticeable odour in the air? The last thing I want is the smell of weed lingering in my room.

Okay. Listen, a Magic Flight Launch Box is the stealthiest vape in my opinion. I as well sometimes have some parent issues when i'm visiting.

There would be no noticeable odor in the air, if so, maybe for a few seconds. But if you take a proper hit and hold it in to absorb it, you should be good

I HIGHly recommend the MFLB, it is amazing and incredibly stealthy. You can literally take it anywhere, people don't know what it is, you can't even smell it, and the taste is incredible.

That depends on your weed and the way you vaporize it. If you are careful how you use your LB, the smell you'll have to worry about is from your stash, not the vaporizer. If you are careful not to exhale much vapour then the odour won't linger or be too noticeable.

good question, here is my general rule: stinky buds means you are gonna have stinky vapor. if when you bust it up and the smell is still minimal then you are gonna have less to worry about.

but the benefit is vapor doesnt really linger like smoke does. It smells more like "baked goods" than it does smoke too.. I vape in my apt all the time, and i just make sure to exhale out a window if i want to keep smell down.

with regards of wanting to keep it on the DL, i'd still do it outside if the option is there. that then the window.

back when i needed to be stealth i ran i piece of tubing out the window so that i could be sure there would be no backflow into the house.

the MFLB would be a fantastic choice for your situation. and for stealth take smaller hits. this makes way less vapor when you exhale.

Once you get a hang of it, you can get very, very light vapor hits, that will smell minimally. Depending on the potency of your weed, and how much it smells before vaporization, the amount of smell will vary, it will dissipate fairly quickly however regardless. Exhaling out an open window, opening window(s) to air out the room, breathing through a sploof (a cylindrical tube filled with drier sheets that acts as a smell filter), ghosting your hits, or exhaling through a tube run out your window that is closed for the most part. These are all possible options for smell reduction...many of these can be used conjunctively, such as ghosting your hit, then exhaling through a sploof either out an open window, or with windows open. If you normally light scented candles or incense, and it would not be suspicious for you to do so, this will COMPLETELY over power any traces of vapor smell.

Yes, I would say the most smell comes from when you are taking your fresh bud out and grinding it. That should be more your concern in terms of stealth. P.s. A little incense or a candle helps out a lot

I would suggest a watercure for those who grow and want to experiment and/or make some of their stuff ready quicker than traditional curing would. OR some schwaggly schwag you want to make a wee bit more smokable/vapeable.

Take a toilet paper center. You know, the cardboard part. Put two dryer sheets in it. Exhale through it, and your odor should be vanquished.

Now, if you can actually get a good hit off a MFLB, please reveal your secret. Mine has two modes: does nothing, and burns weed. So annoying. I'm sure it's user error.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the "does nothing" mode is doing more than you think, but lack of visible vapor is making you assume it's doing nothing.

It's all about breath control and power application. You might have a defective box, but it probably is operator error. Like driving a stick shift, takes a bit to master, but once you have it down, it's easy.

Not to bring us totally off topic, but in my experience, I hold the battery in for three seconds, pull for 10, and am left with what seems like a really weak hit.

On their website they have a video of some guy pulling off a MFLB and blowing an amazing amount of vapor. I've never see any vapor off mine, except in the chamber. I live in Boston though, and we also seem to have nothing but the driest damn weed.

try hitting it while the battery is still connected and making the contact time, 10-15 seconds. while doing this hit it as lightly as possible so you don't bring down the temp below vaping levels.

Try 5-7 second heat up time and a slower draw. Also really dry is good, and the finer the grind the better.
The right light will help you see the vapor also.

I don't get visible vapor in most light, but that just means it's all being absorbed in your lungs if you still get the effect and the herb turns crispy brown. Also means no smell.

Are you grinding your herb fine for the MFLB and properly loading an appropriate sized trench?

Its most likely user error.

I have an acrylic grinder I'm using. This stuff is ground pretty freaking fine. I grind it so fine, in fact, that after 2-3 pulls on an NO2, I can barely get air through there because it's all stuck to the bottom of the top screen.

Perhaps I am missing something, but I got the sense form the instructions that burning weed in the trench was a sign of running too hot. Well, that's what I get every time. Burnt weed. It doesn't all burn. just the bit on the bottom of the trench.

Perhaps I am putting too much in. I should invest in a scale.

a scale? if you would combust, you also wouldn't use a scale for measuring the amount that goes in a joint would you?
and I think just putting it in by sight is also more reliable then measuring a weight, and how would you know what amount to put in?

I don't own a LB myself but I do own a VG, and with the VG the speed of inhaling is also very important
when I just had my VG I would also only get burned hits or very light hits(no visible vapor in the xhale, I would get high from it tough, a very nice very trippy headhigh actually)
but practice helped a lot(using a torch instead of regular flame too, but that doesn't aply to the LB, and that was after I already had plenty of practice and already got good vapor but sometimes burned it)
it seems so simple, just inhaling, but with using these kind of vapes you notice its actually a very delicate process to get the right speed of inhalation, but as soon as you have it down it's simple as hell again
as a dutch saying goes, oefening baart kunst(practice gives birth to art)
