SSV Glass Heater Cover: Does it get scratched by the glass wand?

As the title suggests, I'm wondering whether the glass heater cover gets scratched by the wand over time.

Just looked mine over and i dont see any marks on it at all, and i've been using it steadily since i got it on april 1st. Even if it would after a longer period of usage, they're all of $15 to replace.

Mine is standard glass and I don't see any signs of scratching at all. I don't use everyday but it's had a fair share of use
