I've loved this forum since I joined almost nine years ago. I'm sorry to see it go but big thanks to everyone involved in transitioning to the new site.
I'm truly sorry to ask a few basic and already-answered questions but I've been off this site for most of the month; I came out and read the big news a few days ago but:
1) I can't find the post from the mods explaining the move. Where is it?
2) I made it over to the new site and I'll register. Are we creating new accounts for ourselves, all starting from scratch? Our individual histories here will be gone? We can choose our old usernames (if still available) or take a new one?
