I figured that would be the response. You are all the same as the folks slingling whatever snake oil people want to buy because you seem to think there is a panacea cure out there...
People recover from myriad of disease for any number of reasons, yet every time something good happens, everyone wants to jump onto some panacea band-wagon, shouting till their blue in the face that THIS ONE THING CURES EVERY FUCKING THING>!!!!!!
Well... sorry guys, it's a great plant, I love it, you love it, that's great. I believe there are medicinal benefits, beyond pain relief, and that the components in marijuana offer many potentially groundbreaking benefits. But it's when people start claiming it does everything that I find it gets irritating.
There are equally promising benefits coming along in any number of other paths in life. Marijuana is not the only thing in life.
So again... Get real... Honestly...
P.S. - And I was responding directly to someone asking if smoking or eating cannabis oil would cure cancer. Not some extrapolated cannabinoid or a mutagen or a protein strand that shows promise...
I'd be more than happy to oblige you. MJ isn't a cure all, but it's awfully close. I sure don't want to sling any misinformation pro or con. And I'm certainly not about to mouthbreath or conflate any positives.
That is already part of the problem. Disregard anything type of political skew or hysterics or enthusiasm for that matter. Hit the reset and re-examine the raw data. And be skeptical of that source data, especially if there is any known partiality in the studies. To hold on to only one mindset at this point in time, isn't being consistent. At this point It would be a form of going backwards. Welcome to fast lane of the information age.
Admittingly, There is several different mindsets of how medicine works, even in academic circles. When researcher try to create medical compounds for medicine from cannabis, they often hit a wall because they try to isolate the compounds
. The
Failed French Drug trial experiment was even that much further removed from that point. That to me is a huge tell where the disconnect is. I have seen people treat their conditions successfully using chinese medicine instead of meds. Because of the entourage effect. I used to think cannabis was only good for 'pain relief' and scoffed at the other 'benefits'. Mocked hemp, etc. When that image conflicted with a few
case studies and peoples medical conditions started to reverse, I felt like I might have been duped again.
There was a similar disconnect with gluten. Please bear with me.
There is a similar correlation here. Anyway, There was a time when most doctors knew very little or prescribed anybody with that condition. Much less help a patient get with a healthy diet. It was a combination of health conscious people who took the time to gather and pool data, that cause more familiarity with the condition to emerge and even further research was conducted. Now some people have reversed their diabetic condition. But wait a minute, I was told if you had diabetes, then you had it for life. So there goes everything we thought previous about diabetes.
Now don't get me wrong. There is/was all the other annoying thing with the mouthbreathing, conflation and misinformation
that seems to come with the territory, when a new idea emerges. Like how many people are on a gluten free diet and getting all the health benefits, but don't even know what gluten is.
Can't blame them for wanting to live healthy. Just wish they could make more informed choices.
