Not if that 15mm is accurate. The ID of the bowl sections I just measured is .45 inches, give or take, which I make to be 11.5mm. That brass rim (a questionable material to some anyway) isn't going to compress enough I bet.
Standard half inch screens work, many use them. I personally like 5/8 inch ones which I dome on a Sharpie pen body enough to start in dome side out. Once seated, I flatten them (more or less), taking the dome out leaving the screen spaced up a few mm. Does the same sort of thing, but in all SS and a lot cheaper I bet?
