im looking for a vaporizer that is small and portable, that i can also use in groups... i figured i could use the thermovape as long as i had like 8 sets of batteries at a party with 5-8 people, what do you guys think? i like the thermovape because of the build and the durability, but it doesnt have a long battery life, i like the solo for the milky hits, but the battery is not replaceable, unless you send it in and its like 100 bucks... what do you guys think?

I love my solo, but wouldn't even think of trying to share it with 8 people. It's named the solo for a reason, imo. I really can't think of any electric portable I've used that would be good for that many people. If I HAD to have a portable for that many people I would go for a different power source, like butane and look into the iolite/whisper or a vapor genie.

I got a Solo from PIU a few weeks ago and it is great! The grinder they sent me was a decent 2 piece, not the advertised 4 piece. I sent an email and now have my 4 piece on the way and get to keep the 2 piece! I have never used a Space Case, so not sure what the advantage to a higher end grinder is, but this 2 piece one does the job very well.
At my residence, they sent it USPS. It was in my mailbox and no signature was required.
IMO-I do not see an issue using it in a larger group unless they all have a high tolerances. One stem has gotten 3 folks where they wanted to be and there was enough battery power to repeat that several more times if it would have been needed. Stems get hot, so that could be limiting for a quick reload.

- Get a T1+power adapter
- Get a Solo+power adapter

Also, when you want small, what do you mean exactly? Palm of your hand small, soda can small, marker pen small?
And, another thing, from my experience, my combuster friends don't share my love of vaping. Some like it, but still smoke.. so, choosing a vaporizer thinking of your friends might not be worth it.
