I bought a counterfeit launch box today at a smoke shop down the street and now i am worried because i do not know exactly how safe it is to use. People were there and they said the enjoyed it but i was just curious if anyone had some info? https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CAcQjRw&url=http://www.diytrade.com/china/pd/12134664/Favorites_Compare_Meisail_New_Products_E_Cigarette_Vaporizer_Launch_Box_Dry_Herb.html&ei=FU5EVceaOZO4oQTgv4GwBA&bvm=bv.92291466,d.cGU&psig=AFQjCNFPlKqkcr19qINVflREebxaFxSRAw&ust=1430626194055113

i had one few years ago, it worked well but the batteries was poor quality and you need to have one's full charged. I forgot the spare batterie or the charger every time! i let the vaporizer for this reason.

There are two threads that you might find interesting here and here.

Bottom line? You get what you pay for..... And you run the risk of materials being used that aren't as healthy for you like adhesives, etc.

Plus, who wants to promote blatant rip offs like this? I understand wanting to save a few bucks, but if you go with the OG Magic Flight, you have a lifetime warranty.

Also, it just isn't going to work as well. There was a member here who thought the mflb sucked and then we found out it was a fake. The worst thing about fakes is they taint your perception of the real thing. I would cut my losses and get rid of it before you think vaping sucks forever.

My original MFLB heated up very quickly and to be honest a little too quickly compared to my friends' expriences with their boxes (I had one friend test both and he said mine was distinctly more hot/heated faster), a month or so ago I spun a wheel at a local disp and landed on a knockoff mflb deal for $45 (I had 5$ credit so ended up 40 flat) so I went ahead and got it. Heats up to what I would consider about a 3/4 on a solo when I use a WPA (so not too bad really, just got it as a side vape because I lost my original MFLB and wanted something smaller than the solo). Very different experience with using a water adapter vs inhaling directly- even as a person who had used the mflb for nearly 2 years without connecting it to water before I then connected my new knockoff flight box and it was a totally different experience because you can heat it up much beyond what is comfortable to inhale with their normal stems. I'd say my batteries for the knockoff are probably about 60-70% of the capacity of the originals, its not too bad but not good for a secondary vape if I didn't also have the Solo charged or want to doze off on the couch watching a movie but dont want to vape all at once. I would say the biggest difference is that the batteries are weaker/less capacity in the knockoff. When you really look at the MFLB design, there really isnt much that you could mess up as a mass manufacturer.

Honestly I would say use the mflb knockoff for the time being, but don't consider it to be your single vape or you will be disappointed. If you need another cheap chinese vape I would probably go with the flowermate based on user reviews (I might get the pro or mini myself, I am undecided on their quality so far- if someone has a rave review of how the flowermate pro or mini and thinks they are better than the solo please chime in as my solo's battery is almost needing replacement and I will have to make a decision then), or for the US the Underdog as a plugin or lotus as a butane option [my personal vapes I am considering, obviously including the Underdog (RIP my original UD) if I can get funds for that but it is out of my reach currently]. My opinion is that the mflb KOs are very similar to the originals but that the battery supplied with your unit is much better on the originals, providing a much better vaping experience and there is possibly slightly better connection on the original, but still I would say it falls short of a primary unit (given you haven't gotten like the power adapter on the original, then maybe I could see it being a secondary vape or primary with low tolerance) anyway, I disliked the MFLB original sometimes in that I would actually combust due to my unit heating much faster than others and my friends' units, but I actually kind of enjoy my KO now because it heats slightly slower so I can get the low temps nice, but the original definitely provided more on demand vape at the cost of it being a harsh and uneven vape. *the knockoff doesn't heat more evenly, these are problems shared by the MFLB design where the vapor is uneven and requires near constant shaking/stirring.
