The piece that worked on is no longer in one piece, so I tried to remove a "Blaze" logo w/ steel wool: no go. It's as if I was on drugs or something...

Absolutely! Any 14mm stem would work.Is it possible to get a larger hose and mouthpiece & 14mm adapter for the mega globe? I feel the one it comes with restricts the airflow cause it’s to small.
The Simrell Cage w/ Smoked Sneaky Pete Globe
Sneaky Pete says: As the iconic Michael Buffer would say, “It’sssssss Tiiiiiiimeee”. You’ve waited for it, and it’s finally here: The Simrell Cage with the Smoked Sneaky Pete Globe. This exclusively engineered product is one of a kind, coming to you from the highly respected Simrell Collection.www.sneakypetestore.com
So a larger diameter food grade silicone tube (homebrew supply) should slip over a 14-14 male:male adapter and provide much better airflow. I get what you mean, takes too long to clear the globe with the restricted 90 degree whip adapter. Is it possible to get a larger hose and mouthpiece & 14mm adapter for the mega globe? I fully agree and was equally puzzled. Reviewers are gushing over this thing as if it were the greatest invention ever but there is nothing new here except for a globe in a cage. Things like this once again remind me that you cannot trust anyone's opinion out there no matter how honest or genuine they pretend to be.At $225, you'd have to break four globes before you're breakeven. If you're that clumsy, you should be buying in bulk from China.
Also looks a bit ridiculous IMO. I can't believe it's a real product.
yeah at that price you can just get a much better quality glass piece that's heavier and doesn't move as much. I really like my globe that cage feels like some hypebeast nonsenseI fully agree and was equally puzzled. Anyone having problems using a credit card on the SPV website? I tried several cards, none worked, instead I got the message "Risk Decline." For about a month, I was away from my apartment while repairs took place in the building and just returned, so maybe that's the reason?
Thanks for responding. Retailers definitely need to protect themselves, there's way too much online fraud not to.As a person that has managed a small business retail store that began selling online, there is a lot of fraud attempts that happen, and protections for the business owner for loss is worse than most people may think.
A lot of privately owned businesses that sell online will set the security in the online credit card system to reject any orders where the shipping and billing address did not match (and of course the billing address has to match the one the bank has on file, or it gets rejected). I know it sounds harsh, but for us it cost us less revenue loss in lost sales because of the tighter credit card security than we'd lost in the past due to credit card fraud that we weren't always protected for.

I was (wildly) guessing that because I was away, the powers that be or what not recognized I was using a different internet address and got confused.
But in my case, the billing and shipping addresses are the same. Three different credit cards failed on the SPV website. I used one of them with Amazon without a problem. It's just odd, I've spent more ordering groceries. But it looks like I'm not satisfying my VAS with an SPV globe.
Just SPV so far, but I'll see if it happens with anyone else. I've been thinking it might be something like that, thanks.Does this only happen with Sneaky Pete or with other vendors?
You might have ended up in Stripe's fraud detection system. That happened to me a few years ago.
its better with that glass stem or whatever that I think comes with itI was using Mega Globe last night with Flowerpot.. The airflow kinda sucks with stock whip in my opinion, way to small of a hose. After building up a big hit w/ FP, I can't possibly dedicate the extra oxygen in my lungs to pull some stubborn vapor out of a big glass ball. I'm amazed how much better the Sneaky Pete Mini globe is with clearing bowls in comparison, (although I broke that recently too myself). Very curious if the Mega functions better with an alternative hose, or mouthpiece. It's not much better with the nippled mouth piece you can buy separately from Sneaky Pete either. Id love to maybe get my hands on the Herborizer Sphere. Looks like what these SP globes are trying to do but @ max efficiency. Not sure you can buy them separately from full Herborizer setup.. Anyone own both Sphere + Mega Globe, and could compare function ?

I have to agree, the air flows is so unrestricted that by the time I can fill it my lungs run out of air and cannot clear it. I wish I had goten the smaller one though.
