smoothest vape

I am considering buying a portable vape. vapour smoothness/harshness is a very important factor and the second most important factor is clean vapour pathway. A dynavap with with a bubbler nearly ticks all my boxes but Im concerned about the vapour being harsh as I have very sensitive lungs and throat(both get dry) and I have asthma.

what other good options are there out there considering this?

I like smoothness too - I cringe when I watch those YouTube vids where they take a big rip and cough & hack for two minutes, LOL. I use my VapCap almost exclusivly thru a water piece and don't find it harsh at all. In fact, I just ordered one of their Nonavong units that was on a 4th of July sale. But unless you overdo it, the Vapcap is also not bad without water. But the bubbler is at home where portability isn't an issue.

True. I can't handle harsh hits at all. Even without coughing, several hot, dry hits will irritate my throat.

I have realized that there are two factors that effect my vapor reaction, both heat and humidity. There's hot and cold and then also dry and humid. Some of the newer dimple and glass bead stems provide a cooler hit by adding greater surface area to the glass pathway but don't help with the humidity. I do like these pieces, plus J-hooks and such, and they definitely help when your using a portable and don't want to mess with a mini-bubbler (they work dry too).

I say all this because many folks can hit a dry stem and dry vc's all day and love it. I found vapcaps to be too harsh. This could very well be because I didn't master the torch, and I would still give it another go if I picked up an induction heater. Some vapes do provide cooler vapor than others. I use a Fury 2 right now and the hits are cooler than most others I've tried, but to get the humidity you need to add water. I usually vape it dry because I get lazy, but when possible I use one of these little bastards. If you’re filtering through water almost any portable vape will be smooth. If not you’ll want something with a built in cooling system like the Mighty/Crafty or the Ghost.

If your not already, try using small nugs or hand torn chunks instead of grinding. The VapCap can more than handle this, & with the addition of water filtration makes for a smooooooooooth experience.

The Supreme vaporizer also allows the user to use nugs or hand torn bud. The Supreme w/ unground material through water heated to around 350F - 360F is probably one of the (if not the) smoothest vapor experiences I've ever had. YMMV. Good luck!

I like to vape when the room temperature isnt too hot, turn on ac if anything, use water piece, go low to medium, i enjoy higher temps because the vapor production is excellent

If saving herbs vape low temps first, then come back and finish at high temps

You could get an OG Solo. Inexpensive, bomb proof, tasty and smooth and easy to clean. Works with plenty of glass accessories but is smooth dry.

I use Vapcaps and have very sensitive lungs (severe chronic lifelong asthmatic). I have found that short mouth pulls coupled with a degummed hemp fiber filter creates a very smooth, cool, non irritating vapour.

Using a filter will effectively remove any tiny particles that may otherwise get through your screen and into your lungs. It also keeps your condenser surprisingly clean and clear of debris.

The mouth pull technique provides a cooler fresher vapor inhale. Dial down to a tight air restriction and cover the carb for most of the toke. Pull the vapor into your mouth without inhaling, like you would when puffing on a cigarette or cigar. Near the end of the pull, open or feather the carb to bring the last of the vapor into your mouth along with that pulse of fresh carb air, then open your mouth, remove the Vapcap and inhale the vapour and fresh air into your lungs. Exhale. Repeat.

Use a filter. Take short mouth pulls versus long tokes and incorporate fresh air.

This technique, for me, gets me where I want to be with no lung irritation, no coughing.

Compared with plugins, portables sacrifice performance, smoothness and flavor for convenience. I don't consider the Dynavap "smooth" at all, although for the price it's pretty good. The Arizer portables are "smoother."

The Splinter with an XL8R cooling stem is a super capable and smooth hitting portable and you can use water at home like you might with a VapCap or session vape. The portability itself is not the strong suit though since it uses a glass joint.

Smoothes draws on any vaporizer is just long but slow but sturdy inhales and exhale before your throat gets itchy. Slow inhale is more time to cool the smoke down. faster harder draws are always more harsh, also on a bong it is better to inhale slow and sturdy, it is much smoother.

I noticed that hash does not make me cough as much as flower. so you might try hash.

You can also try a bubbler. but you need one with lots of percolation. So try one with a
lot of percolation. More holes in the percolators means more cooling and more filtering.

Drum or matrix percolators in a bubbler are one of the best you can buy. lots of holes, lots of percolation, easy to clean, supersmooth inhales.
