Great post. While I’ve been vaping since 2010, my allergy and sinus issues predate that by a country mile. I have even had sinus surgery. While not new to vaping, I am fairly new to the NewVape FlowerPot, and I’;ve develope the worst sinus issue I have had in years.. Is it related? I suspect enough that I have shelved my FlowerPot until I get through this infection, for which I am on my 4th Antibiotic and have a CT scan scheduled for tomorrow. While this maybe funny for some, for those afflicted and reliant on Cannabis for pain management this is a bug deal, it sucks!
I have a lot of vapes, the FlowerPot is unique I always use it with water. My water piece gets rinsed after every use, almost daily. I also clean it with kosher salt and alcohol. I also use Reverse Osmosis water. Small particles due get through the bowl and screen that came with the FlowerPot, so I just ordered a Gravity Ash Catcher to see if that would make a difference. In the interim I am using other vapes. I’ll post more as I discover or feret out new information. Respect! -YaMon
Just one thoughy bro- are you dead sure it is a bacterial infection? I have and get all sorts of infections everywhere. I am very lucky to get pinpoint, accurate diagnosis of every infectiin, what it is, where it is, and what sort of problems it is causing- with the help of an amazing diagnostic tool which the medical establishment has villified and demonised with lies and propaganda.
Anyway, the spot oh feedback and precise info I get is so invaluable, and matches 1000% with every single bit of my experiencs and symptoms, on every curcumstance. It is called "Vega testing", but it does requite some competence to use the tool best and most accutately I believe. I wish everybody could get this unbelievable precise info on what is really going on on their bodies, generally, but specifically in relation to pathogens.
They use it in Germany and Holland in hospitals, doctors, dentists etc. It is quite expensive I believe, they are not suppressing it and denying it there like the UK and US evil governments and medical establishment.
I wish you could get some answers like this though to get a lot of feedback on what is going on with the infection, where else it is, and any other info or situational aspect that is relevant will also be visible.
Anyway, I get both bacterial and viral infections in my sinuses all the time due to immine malfunction. To me the viruses are a much bigger, more ongoing problem, and far harder to treat, keep down, and clear.
So just keep in mind dude- unless you are dead sure you have a bacterial sinus infection, thos antibiotics will do no good. On the contrary, they wipe out all your healthy intestinal Flora which giganticly weakens and lowers your immune system, which further compounds the problem with sinus infections making them much stronger and your body much weaker against them as well as a myriad of other health problems and immune deficiencies which can begin to show up.
My own illness which I know now was a case of severe lyme disease but with many additional factors, began with two courses of antibiotics in 2005. I already had the borrelia bacteria (Lyme) in my system which was just waiting for an opportunity to manifest into full blown Lyme disease, but it was taking the antibiotics which was the final straw at weakening my immune system to the point where the Lyme could easily take over fully.
If I had been wiser at the time I would have avoided the prescription antibiotics and use natural antibiotics to treat my two chest infections, and at the same time fortified and strengthened my already compromised intestinal flora (as a result of having no comprehension of living right to support healthy gut microbes with probiotic foods and drinks).
So just be careful about taking antibiotics unnecessarily and weakening your own surely already compromised gut flora (unless of course you make a habit of consuming probiotic foods and drinks on a frequent basis as we all are designed to do).
I just don't want to see you end up even more sick and find it harder to recover I would strongly recommend you to look into making some sauerkraut or fermented vegetables as a probiotic source. My mum has just started doing this there is a special type of pot you can get from Korea which makes the process much better and effective called an "Onghi pot".
Have a look into it anyhow. I'm sorry if anything I say comes across as being patronising I only wish to help and am very passionate about this having experienced long-term illness myself which could so easily have been prevented or reduced had I known more when I was younger.
All the best see you about.
