Hey guys, I just joined this site this morning because I was looking for some opinions/advice.
I got into weed seriously in August of this year. It really varries how often I vape as I prefer to get stoned when I'm with friends but I would say maybe 3-7 times a week. I decided to invest in a vaporizer (extreme q) in maybe mid to late october. I have absolutely loved it and its my primary method of getting stoned.
Heres the problem: A few days ago, I decided to wake and bake. I've done it before and I enjoy it a lot but I only do it very occasionally. I had just got some new weed seeing as I ran out. The weed I had before I thought was really bad quality because I just had these half ass highs. Anyhoo, I had my friend over and we both decided to fill a bag (I never use the whip). My fave temp to vape at is around 194°c. So I filled my friends bag first and as she was vaping, she said it was really good shit. So I obviously got excited considering I had been having really shitty highs for a week or two. I normally vape about a bag. I got through maybe 2/3 of it and I stopped cause I was soooo high. It waa great. I hadn't been that high since I first started in August.
The problem lies here. After about 15 minutes, I got the weirdest sensation in my head. It wasn't painful but it felt like someone was pouring cool water on my scalp (it since then happens pretty much anywhere on my head). I would be constantly touching my head, somewhat expecting to feel something, but of course, nothing. Aside from that, nothing else disturbed my high.
For the past two days now since then, this feeling hasn't gone away. I mean, its not there all the time, it comes and goes. I had one migraine in addition to this and it was just the worst combo ever. Again, its not painful, just unsettling.
So my questions are basically the following:
1. I'm pretty sure this was weed induced seeing as I have no known health issues and I have never had this feeling before a few days ago. So, is it my vape or the weed? (I should add that I have had one similar experience with vaping where I got I think just a regular migraine. Left side of my head felt very full and achy.
2. Should I be worried? ( I have a docs appt in early Jan so I already plan to mention all of this to her.)
3. Has anyone had any similar experiences? If so, how did you resolve them?
I am someone who doesn't do a damn thing unless I research it thoroughly. Ergo, I have done a lot of research on forums like this for people with similar issues and haven't really found anything helpful );
Also, the reason I titled this "Silent migraines" is because I have done some more in depth research on migraines and have come to find out about silent ones. Its basically a form of migraine without the headache pain. I have quite a few if the symptoms but the one that pulled me in was "tingling or numbing feelings or other unusual body senations".
I'll be watching this post closely so feel free to ask questions. I seriously appreciate everyone who had taken the tine to read this and help me out (:
