It's probably my favorite strain. I tend towards Indica's and this is a real nice one. It's very pungent and dank. You can really smell it when you open the jar, lol.

If you get a chance, I'd definitely pick some up in either flower or concentrate form.

Hi Mom - I have looked at their website and their test reports and this looks like some VERY impressive stuff. How do you like it? My understanding is that they add terps afterward, yeah? Looking at their websites they have different 'flavors' with some being names of strains and others just flavors. The test results seem to indicate its all the same product but hard to tell.

You like this stuff?

Those little jars I put upside down on parchment paper (after ten minutes or whatever in fridge) for a day or two in room temperature cupboard.

Gravity has not failed me yet, even with.like co2 oil consistency although it can take a few more days.

Sorry for doing two posts in a row - didn't show me an edit button. So I'll do a two-fer here!

First, my freshly made Headband shatter (5.8g starting dried and cured flower yielded .61g shatter) in slick sheet (hurray finally got some!).

And for @momofthegoons , here are two pics of my using the new "slick sheet" I got using gravity on these stupid little 1g (?) silicone containers, buddy gave me two 1g containers of mystery oil. Will drain upside down, re-dissolve, and make mystery shatter. :zombie:

Okay,

Traded my guy a 1/4oz of some Green Crush flower for a gram of Cinderella 99 shatter (below), almost impossible to work with even after some time in fridge! But it is absolutely freaking fantastic!!!

Lemon and mangoes, clean and crisp. Wow.

Sounds like an expensive trade IMHO but I realize concentrates are not so easy to come by on the east coast so prices stagger based on accessibility. When I run into them, I try to get as much as I can. Thats still only about 2-5 grams tho.

I am sure your enjoying it but how does it compare to what you were making yourself? I can't remember if you did qwet or what but I recall you posting something recently.

Have you tried to put it in the freezer? An ice pack might work too, but for really sappy unstable stuff I find the freezer pulls some of the extra moisture accumalted from the typical August humidity that we are suffering from in our region right now. Another tip is to freeze a glass (preferrably with a round bottom) and place the frozen wax in the glass. After about an hour or two in the freezer you should be able to make the wax shatter into pieces but be careful...a deep narrow glass is idea because when you crush the wax or push on it, it can explode like shattered glass and you dont want shards flying out the cup.

Freezer for 20 min did the trick! Still had to be quick, it is molasses with any warmth. Delicious!

Yeah, gave him double but I am a sucker for rarer strains. Just ask the financial boss...my wife... :nod:

I honestly like mine best (shatter in this case), strain for strain. But I started getting some rosin, and iI liked it wayyyyyyy a whole lot!

Sometimes working in the freezer helps too, but some wax just eludes stability. I have had some experience with unstable molasses like concentrate. The worst part is if you dont have it on good parchment and you see tinted parchment after which means you lost some of your wax...I am too lazy too ISO it out.

It sounded like double or atleast 150% but I understand completely and wouldnt be surprised if I caught myself doing the same.

I have been fortunate lately with great quality flower and concentrate recently, however I would love to do my own TEK one of these days. Besides Rosin anyway. I have a bench vice and a dedicated set of straighteners, but I learned that the Supreme V3 will give almost the identical effect and flavor as a Rosin dab. Fill it up and it gives the effects of Rosin dabs!

@nosmoking that was incredibly helpful, and I greatly appreciate it. I can start staring at something *determined* to figure it out or fix it. This baby just needs the cold.

I put it on SlickSheet folded like parchment, squished with my fingers to get it super-flat, then folded that up and I am keeping it inside my stainless UKonserve in the fridge, - I'll just pull it out with each use.

I have to even keep my fingers away from outside the sheet when getting a dab or the heat will start working, so I use my little SS tool to slice a glass like piece, then fight THAT off onto the coil with a toothpick.

But lemony lemony lemony...

Sour Diesel shatter run Saturday, will post pics of results.
