Heat can make shatters auto budder, so some people keep them in the fridge. I like to keep my oils with a desiccant in the jar too, reduces moisture that can contribute to auto buddering also.

love the handle, light and oxygen are your enemies on the front lines. heat has some effect on degredation, but as long as it's not hot enough to become unstable you should be fine.

Cookie monster (pretty sure its a phenotype of Girl Scout Cookies) on the left that's about 3.5g there and the little one on the right is a sample of Agent Orange that came out phenomenal my buddy had to let me try. They both taste incredible and are the product of top shelf nug runs. They both have some very fruity terpenes still intact which I think caused it to auto-budder in the vac chamber. The agent orange has a lemony orangey taste while the cookie monster has fruity overtones i havent placed yet with heavier earthy OG undertones.

OK... We can now legally buy this stuff right here in Rhode Island! And I have to say, I have never been this medicated. It's a Headband that is 73.26% THC and 2.24% CBD. Took my dab 1:15 minutes ago and I'm even more medicated. Damn. Anyway, here's what it looks like:

Yea, shit . So it cost $60 for the gram. Is that a good price? I mean, it would last me a friggin month. My son actually bought it. As much as I am a huge fan and user of sativa, this shit is not anything I would use before work, around my wife, etc., LOL.

I want to try a nice indica concentrate for bedtime. I have serious back problems and this would probably knock me down for a while.

Compared to what most BHO goes for in SoCal dispensaries, it's more expensive, but that stuff looks really good. The stuff that gets sold in dispensaries here in SoCal (IMO) is buddery waxy crap that is made made from shake and trim. I won't buy it and I sure as hell wouldn't smoke it. The dispensary garbage usually goes for around $35 a gram. If you do the math and figure it takes around 4-6 grams of top quality bud to make a gram of oil, then $60 for excellent quality oil is reasonable.

I agree mostly. At 15% return rates, 1.05 grams of oil would equal 7g flower. Budder/wax seems popular but thankfully "nicer" stuff like the shatters that TerpX/WCC/Fire Type Concentrates/etc are putting out are gaining serious traction. There's even a movement of non-solvent full-melts starting to gain some traction. CO2 is starting to get bigger now as well. Don't get me wrong, wax is nice for handling and stuff but it oxidizes faster than shatter. Aeration is only so beneficial before it starts affecting either taste, quality, or both.
