... and a munchie recipe at the end as a thank you for replying.
Everyone says that canabutter made from AVB tastes horrid but I'm wondering if a lot of it has to do with using it in sweet recipes instead of savory ones. The aroma of AVB is burnt and nutty (I haven't eaten anything made with AVB yet) but does this aroma translate at all into its flavor profile? If it does, I'm wondering if anyone has tried recipes that more or less compliment these characteristics as opposed to trying to disguise them with sweetness. Everything I've found is a sweet recipe with one exception, bacon "drippings" (canabacon drippings?), which could potentially make a great roux. Other than that I'm still thinking baked goods but I'm curious about anything else.
BTW, I recently tried some chocolate, peanut butter, bacon brownies (no cannabis) that were amazing. Everything really does taste better with bacon:
Get a box of brownie mix, some organic peanut butter, peanut butter chips, and a bottle of Hormel's real bacon bits for a quick and easy version. Combine peanut butter chips and just a little bit of the bacon bits into the mix, pour into a a baking pan, swirl organic peanut butter into the panned mix with a butter knife, then sprinkle bacon bits on top to taste. A little bit of bottled bacon goes a long way in this so don't overdo it in the mix or the topping.
