That clapton coil is interesting, looks like the Sai and Molecule are sort of on similar paths... I did order the quartz crucible from HVT earlier, looking forward to comparing it with the Molecule insert when that arrives too.

Nothing better to test hit my new quartz bucket than some @91supremeofficialblueberry fse. Or maybe this is caviar in Terp sauce. I dunno. It's tasty as hell and was wonderful to start the new rig.
Same settings as titanium bucket for quick big hits, TCR 2700 35w 525f. I could bring it down in temp a bit if I wanted even more flavour, but I need to feel it in my lungs a bit. That comes from my old big bong hit days.

Both new toys hit at same time! Got the Sai Taf GC & the "Mole" with Quartz Cups. A stone cold winner!! Sai QC 1st try! Sai at same setting as Daltesean in Red Panda. 315 tcr 35 watts 380 hits great so smooth First try perfect, no reclaim & 3 hits off .01 live resin crystals - I'm in heaven. The Quartz Cups were sent with Mole just to play with, as creator is making new insert system. I can tell you they are same 10mm but about half the height. Just looking at the 2 of each as a sample. The shorter ones fit in the Sai , but going to probably make a spill over mess. Have to wait for final system to really be fair.

The Mole is delicate compared to the tank the Sai Taf is and this
TAF QC Combo is a game changer for the Sai.
As I never used any bare coils, just donuts & Ceramic & quartz cups
this is what I have been waiting for, easy to use, fast heat up.
Easy to clean, so far a dream. Fits the smaller cups I got with the Mole.
This Sai Taf QC got me so high off so little so smoothly.
This is a joy to use so far, hope I'm not dreaming.
Ready to hit in 3-4 seconds & a second press on AF and you can go full 30
seconds at 390 no coughing , like a low temp long dab.
This Sai Taf GC combo hits like a mini QQ, got to run a few grams thru it to
see if it leaks into bottom as the Ti Bucket never did, but you could screw the
Ti Skillet much tighter.

I just love both for different reasons, lol.
Still hitting the Sai this morn, heavy rain in Vegas last night.
Yes so far no mess & easy clean up.
Didn't need to, but torched the insert just to see what would
happened if I blackened it and within a few seconds it was new again.
I really can't see the Sai Taf getting any better for what it is now
for me a replacement for around the house all day vaping taste heaven.
As far as the Mole, it's journey is just starting to climb that mountain of
creativity & who know where it will end up, going into a areas not tried
& maybe surpassing the Sai in time with it's coil bases heaters & own
Quartz Insert Cup design. Those peeps are awesome & are working hard
to innovate everyday, like Matt at DT , hard working honest folks.

I was just giving my opinions on my experiences but
totally agree with you in spirit, even if we are talking about two of the same dufferent things , Whew lol.
These threads need to be more defined and maybe moved to other areas
as they grow in popularity as Moderator sees fit in time.
They do a good job of keeping us civil & going strong up here.
I learn about of stuff my friends ask me about weed vaping and
other stuff from your varied post, thx.
I start every day with 2 Volcano balloons thru my D020
so sweet & tasty , try a new preroll in the "V" every morning
& hit the oil, shatter, live resins later as the weed has its limits for me.
These Quartz & Ceramic & Ti Skillet choices with a good mod & TCR#'s
make mixing terpy with strong oil base to change magic carpet rides
all day onto tennis court & deep into Vegas nights.

I hate really answering this question as I was going to support "G"'s ideas
& product but with funds limited and not wanting to get the whole coil set for
$100. So I opted for 2 Taf Sai Ti Skillet & a Mole for the same $100
Turns out to be a great choice, lol.
Loving the low temp hits and can crank it and facemelt at will.
On both devices, but as far as Quartz smooth, Sai for now.
On Source orb 4 , conversation dropped on Redditt & FC so
I'm glad I didn't go down that rabbit hole as they too are Way
overpriced on (my opinion) on Quartz & all else in comparison.

This New Quartz Bucket & Ti Bucket combo's are interchangeable
and slightly give different hit types to both atty's.
By switching the Plate & Donut heaters around to both atty's.
Found out all is interchangeable .
Try it you'll like it.
Makes the Ti Bucket heat quicker & more even.
This Sai Taf is now my everything all day ENial.
No Maintenance once dialed in, makes everything
I've have & used a JOKE! Cleaning shit brings me down.
Considering ease of use (press & hold button) NO Mess
Can you mess it up YES. Still a LAYG atty.
After every trial & experiment I need hours to recover.
With proper TCR#'s & Temps its all there for the Sipper
to I want to melt my face hitter.

Waiting for the quartz buckets to be back in stock to place my order for the Sai TAF. Can anyone weigh in on the advisability of getting the Poseidon v2 as well? Can it be used with the quartz bucket?
