Who else has watched The Office and Extras and noticed how genius they are? Two of the best show ever, to me. Definitely not for everyone due to the subtleties and psychology behind it, but that's also taking it a bit far.

As real as TV has been able to show, really. Anyone else a fan? Which series do you like better and why?

And what about the adaptations? Anyone like them? I think the US series has taken some things too far, but it has its moments.

And the podcasts. Classic. Karl is incredible.

He's hilarious. I like The Office better than Extras. They both are great and he is hilarious in both.

Ghost Town was good. Looking forward to the new features he's written and directing. Names escape me now, but one used to be called The Other Side of the Truth.

I'm a huge fan of Ricky Gervais. The man is definately a comic genius as both a writer and actor. Both the Office and Extras were wonderful shows, though I give a slight edge to the Office as the funnier show. I'd like to see him do another series.

Love everything this man has ever created, as well as his religious views, causes he supports. Especially anything to do with Karl Pilkington LOL. I've seen all of his sitcoms (most multiple times), and theyre great, but i cant even say just how many times i've watched Idiot Abroad, The Ricky Gervais Show... and The Moaning of Life, tho that one technically doesnt count i guess, since Gervais isnt actually in it? But in your head you can still hear his laugh at certain times and after karl says certain things lol

Also the series hello ladies a U.S. series with Stephen merchant is well worth a watch. First episode not the best so stick with it. There are only 6 episodes
Also the U.S. episode of the office where they do a fun run for rabies was a good episode think it's season 4 ep 1.
The British one is a classic though

:nod:....... it's absolutely steeped in sentimentality. But, it also never fails to make me belly laugh - very underrated IMO - I love it!
