Replacement for Iolite?

I am on my 2nd iolite and have been vaping for about 2.5years, used to have a blue meanie back in the day but for my lifestlye i need a portable vape.

Price doesnt bother me, i want an actual vaporizer,fully portable, veering towards battery op but open to alternatives. The idea of long lasting battery for high speed quick bursts is most appealing.

Models i am considering as follows:
Wispr / Inhalater INH004 / Vapir N02 / Airiser Solo / Vapor Blunt

I looked at atmos Raw but turns out it combusts

Love my iolite, but if there something there that can deliver a bigger hit then i am interested. Wispr seems to have a lot of problems (Smell / reliability), vapor blunt battery guarantee is only 90 days.

is there something else on the horizon i should maybe wait for?

Do you need a portable vape as in, one without cords you can easily transport to a friends? or a portable vape you can use stealthily on-the-go?

The Arizer Solo is a fantastic choice for upgrading from the iolite, but with removable glass parts and a fairly sizeable base, you wouldn't be using it walking down the street.

cords that can be removed once battery is charged/while charging/in use is fine.

Iolite is amazingly portable which is why i am looking at a few slim style. dont take it out that much anymore though.

If i was taking to friends i would prob leave cords at home if possible

Just had an email from atmos raw saying they now have glass screens to stop combustion, also says they have 36 month guarantee!!

I seriously big up the solo, its so good that I bought a second one two months after buying the first (two solo's means twice as much battery on the go). It hits hard, never combusts and has a nice variety of temperatures. I frequently take mine to the park or pretty much anywhere. I have been known to vape it walking down the street (only on quiet-ish streets).
One 12 minute cycle should pack plenty of punch to get you reasonably high.

Even though the MFLB is considered small hit-wise compared to the solo, when I uprgraded to an MFLB from my old iolite that change was outstanding.

Especially if you want lots of small hits, I would go with the MFLB. I use to carry around two batteries and could vape for a long while without running out of charge. Its also cheap enough that if you really arent satisfied you arent out of pocket more than a night out on the town.

I have never one but also check out the ThermoVape, seems to have a bit of a following...

I can pull very satisfying hits from the MFLB, and like Tom think of it as an upgrade to the Iolite. It's smaller, far more durable, has a better warranty, but it is more difficult to share with friends due to a large learning curve. It's one of the stealthiest vapes available and has almost no footprint in your pocket, to the point where iirc one forum member actually mistakenly walked into a courthouse with a loaded MFLB mistakenly in his pocket.

The Solo is best if you don't need something tiny, need no learning curve, love big hits, appreciate temperature control, love hooking stuff up to glass, etc.. I was the first one the have a flaking Solo on this forum and it may not have the cleanest airpath in creation according to some members. You should educate yourself on this subject by perusing the Solo thread, although the ceramic is now gone and the new units reportedly work very well last I checked.

It all just depends on your needs - and the only need that the Iolite excels at meeting, IMO, is the need to operate away from an electrical source for a protracted length of time.

As for the other units on your list, the Wipsr is basically an upgraded iolite, I prefer the MF/Solo to the VaporBlunt, and I've not tried the No2, although it does have some vocal fans which include trusted and well-informed forum members. The original Inhalater is actually basically my least favorite vape of any I've tried and I do not recommend it.

It's not on your list but the thermovape is my favorite portable of all time to date (tried most of the popular styles/brands) and it fits me personally better than the others. The MFLB is amazing for anyone with a low tolerance, it is my first suggestion. I switched from the MFLB to the thermovape because it allowed me to reach my desired effects with 1 bowl, something the MFLB could no longer do. I found using the MFLB several trenches in a row really irritated the hell out of my throat, as did hitting it at the higher temps that I personally desire most of the time.

There is basically nothing to break on the TV and it has a great warranty. I've gotten my moneys worth easily. My personal opinion is that the thermovape does everything the iolite does but FAR better. Literally everything, besides the fact that the iolite runs on butane. Some people view the lack of charge time as a positive, but I view dealing with butane is a negative compared to simply buying some extra batteries and always having a ton charged ready to go.

I still really like the MFLB, but I just don't see it being as useful as the thermovape to most people with a higher tolerance.

A bit off topic but portability aside how would you rate your TV against your log vapes, cloud size wise?

My log vapes being underdogs produce some of the most massive clouds I am able to achieve with any vaporizer. That being said they are much bigger than the TV, but there is no chance in hell I could have pulled clouds with the MFLB near the size of the TV clouds. I am able to "bowl" my car with the TV if me and a friend sit there and pass it back and forth. It is not some light hitter, which is exactly why I love it.

Look up the Da Vinci thread. Very nice portable unit. Looks like a small Walkie talkie. Variable temp, quiet. Medium hits category. I can crank it up an d it gets down to biz.

IMO from previous experiences it is best to wait and see if any revisions or issues need fixing with most new vapes. I've been burned in the passed with a product I jumped on early and ended up having nothing but headaches (literally!)
