Recommendation for an inexpensive vaporizer for herb

Hey guys. I'm looking for some recommendations for a good and inexpensive vaporizer for herb. I f'd up my back a couple months ago and have been using increasingly more medicine as the pain and tolerance has gone up. Medical bills are ramping up, so no way I can afford anything nice like a Volcano. I've seen some pretty inexpensive box-style vaporizers on eBay and Ratuken, but after a bad experience with a fake MicroG pen that I got on eBay I am very leery of ordering other vaporizer products there.

Thanks in advance.

Look through the hammer and lotus threads. I really enjoy my hammer, it's my daily driver but I know a lot of people love the lotus to. Both are pretty inexpensive and the hammer has great sales every now and then. I'm not sure what your budget is but I also enjoy my da buddah a lot (more for weekends) but the e-nano is going to be my next plug in. Also check the for sale section here. Good luck

Hi @an0maly - when you say inexpensive - what budget did you have in mind? Also, do you want a portable or plug-in?

@Seren - I'd like to spend less than $100, so the Vapolution 2.0 is looking pretty good. Vapor Seller has it for $76.99, which looks like a pretty good deal. I'm not sure yet about whether to get a portable or plug-in, but I am leaning toward plug-in.

@clouded vision - I checked the first page of the Vapolution 2.0 thread, but couldn't find any mention of a discount code.

I've seen Arizer Solo in a lot of people's sigs. Vapor Seller has them for $135.99, almost too good to be true. What do you guys think? Should I go for this one if my budget allows? It looks pretty cool.

Hey an0maly,

I think you'll like the Solo (I own two). Dependable, VERY easy to use (who needs hassle when they're in pain?). Check out the Solo thread (it's now 1058 pages long) - lots of satisfied customers for a solid product. I've no experience with Vapor Seller, but Randy at Puff It Up (PIU) often price matches other venders and provides great customer service (I.e. AFAIK warranty issues are dealt with directly at PIU, so no need to ship across borders and the associated customs nonsense). Great community over at the Solo thread - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of luck.

I have to agree with NoName - if you can afford that little bit extra, you can't go far wrong with the Solo. It's a great portable - but can also be used plugged in - so it's pretty versatile in that respect. It's also really efficient with your herbs - which I'm guessing may be an important factor for you, given that you have been having to up your intake of late. :2c: :peace:

I agree the solo is a fine vaporizer, it gets a lot more use then my NO2 and is worth the extra money if you can manage to come up with it. Still not so sure you should use the new solos plugged in even though it works that way now. Arizer still says don't do it.

Arizer changed the way it charges the new solos charge and discharge the batteries(a little) even with the PA. :shrug:

Still the charging time isn't bad and the battery life is the best by far compared to any other portable I've used.
I'd still give it a :tup::tup: rating.
