And That Ain't No Joke, You Can Disappear In Smoke
Well I got a Revenger X Mod, now I'm waiting for the special batteries they are NITECORE IMR 3100 mAh 35A. So far it has been "Rocket Science" and really not so far off with potential explosions and other complexities such as voltage, these batteries are way beyond regular batteries so that's why I'm seeking help from any of ouout electronic wizards. Well that's all, thanks a bunch. Sayonara.

PS: I did a search of Rechargeble Batteries(nothing) before posting this thread, per site instructions.

I'm sorry, but you've lost me completely. I'm happy to try to help if I can, might even be able to but need to know what you want?

Are you looking for that cell? You can use many others if you keep it under 150 Watts or so (which will keep the current down as well). Of the ones I have 'kicking around' I'd go with the Sony VTC4 or maybe Samsung 25R. Or VTC5A, an excellent 'all around high power 18650', what I'm very happy with. This is a serious power area, there's a huge difference between e-cig use (a few seconds at a time) and the sort of vaping we sometimes do that might involve much longer times. What are you trying to do with it?

If the question is how to deal with the mechanics, the back comes off from the lower left corner and hinges left. The two 18650s go in 'head to tail', watch polarity. Pretty standard there?

In general, keep the cells matched in your battery pack. Buy them together and don't use them for anything else that doesn't also use them in pairs (don't discharge one more than the other).

There's a very knowledgeable fellow goes by the name of "Mooch". Easy to find, he's good, but it's a big field and complex. And ever changing. Lots of BS around 18650s, many claim dangerous current/power capacity and forget to make clear that's only for a very short time or things get too hot. There are really only 4 legitimate makers 'out there', I suspect the cell you cite is one of them, repackaged. And no, I don't believe those claims, there are no 18650s that can give an honest 35 Amps (continuously) at even half that capacity. The other way around there are no 3100mAh cells good for that current, the current champ (bad pun......) is the NCR18650B used in Air II and ArGo, it's good for 5.6 Amps.......

FWIW, none of the makers intend use like we do, they're made/sold for car battery packs and stuff like that. Everything available to us is 'Gray Market'. Sony, LG and those guys don't support single cell use, they expect it to be in a pack with controlled cooling and protective circuits made for the job.

Fun stuff. To me and a few others that don't get out enough.

What, specifically, do you want?
