Recently used vapes and vapes to look forward to!

For using at home (where I almost always consume my herbs):
have been completely satisfied with an Enano XL with JoDa stems... would love to get at least another one or two of them to have them all plugged-in around my home... but not really in my plans soon to get one. If I did, it would either be another Enano XL or a GTR or a Couchlog CL.

That Enano XL and JoDa combo does the job! 😁
The GTR is great as a secondary log, mines become my office vape for little hits whilst my Enano stays by the side of my sofa.

Log vapes seem a waste since they don’t have the hits of the ball vapes apparently.

You might reconsider logs if you havent tried them personally. I have most recently owned an enano xl. Based on that experience alone I consider logs to be the 80% ball vape solution. My zx benched my log and i sold it, but if i hadnt wanted to try ball vapes the log was great for ohe of the amount i wanted to use

As I've said regularly, I'll put my Enano XL to the test against any ball vape, it's a beast!

I don't own one but the fact that the E-nano XL plugs right into the wall (and it's not DC 12V) makes it a special log to begin with. It's hard to overpower 120V AC power. I wouldn't be surprised if it behaves like a ball vape.

Yeah those glass stems are tricky. Maybe you could try a small regular metal screen on top to prevent the glass holes from clogging.

oh yeah, it definitely helps, but then comes the second issue i have with the ArGo... refraction time (specially at low temps)... with the Enano XL I can take huge back to back hits and not notice a difference... not the case with the Argo, not even with small hits and even worse at low temps. I want a portable that can be as consistent as my Enano XL and at low temps too. I have friends with the TM and TM2 PH and thats the closest Ive tried to what I want. The ALPV was def better than the Argo but not as good as the TM, but the one I tried was from the first batches so the newer ones or the v2 must be better. And the Bowle just seems to expensive for me and Im not a fan of crucibles/pucks.

Yeah for sure, although the Couchlog also plugs directly into the wall but doesn't perform the same, although I've not tried the Couchlog XL.

If you have the technique then something like the Dreamwood Glow can get you close, but you need that technique really dialled in. Tough to get that level of power and consistency in the hits from a battery powered device. Some manual portables like the Lotus can also get pretty close but again it requires good technique.

The beautiful thing about the Enano XL is that you hit it regardless of technique and the vapour flows.

I have pretty much used everything on my set up recently.
OMG; I just saw this bc my crappy laptop has a habit of scrolling up on its own when I 'cool switch' (alt-tab) between browser instances, and I only started posting in this forum recently.

First... I'll echo Tigole Bitties... just beautiful. All color-matched, too. And all of it in custom enclosures. But the piece de resistance... a FOUR PID station.

If I'm being out of place, I apologize. But why does one have four live PIDs running? (I've just never seen more than 2 -- and I can / have run 2). Asking more out of amazement, rather than 'WHY are you doing this' (which is 'nunya', of course)

(on edit: I can see 2 wireless / 2 wired, so that explains a bit of it (half of it? lol)

I can answer that from my own experience. I currently run 4 pids. one for the zx, one for the hornet's 16mm coil, one stretched 25mm axial for a banger / Vulcan heated bowl, and one 25mm barrel coil for my Epitome / other 25mm ball heads.

During the day I leave the zx pid on. in the evenings I turn on the hornet and go between both of them. The banger / heated bowl setup gets used a few days a month when my tolerance is in that range or if I need to destroy a buddy :D I've had all 4 on before but that's usually me leaving the hornet and zx on when I go to the heavies because even then sometimes I just want a zx hit.

I can answer that from my own experience.
And I thank you for doing so. Makes sense (and kind of addresses an issue I'll have if I ever add another ball vape that doesn't match my Twist (no worries there; nothing does) or my B0 (which works, but there are better options for me to jump into, which I'll probably do at some point).

No pets / kids (like me) ? Let 'em run. Once they're up to temp, it costs almost no energy to let them maintain temp. And 'right now' is certainly better than waiting 10-15m for one to stabilize from cold.

Guess I kinda answered my own question, once I got a little nudge in the right direction. :spidey:
And some motivation to eventually make my own enclosures.
