@RastaBuddhaTao will we get a chance to change our accessories when you send us our confirmation emails? I'm thinking that I'd like to switch to the digital charger, and perhaps add a few screens to the order as well.

RBT asks in the address confirmation email if you have everything that you need.
So any additional accessories can be added before they ship.
I'm sure he'll swap out chargers for you at that time as well.

So I'm expecting 3 shipments, 1 from Canada and 2 from the US. Missed mail on Fri, they changed out mailboxes and we need to get keys, and no time Monday, so checked today and have 2 'awaiting delivery' slips. I wonder what's in the box?
Anyways, 3bie - choices for names... I'm a big fan or blues, rock and punk, and of course some newer stuff. Musical name? Musical quote? An instrument? An '11' power control knob?
I'm not at that 'inspirational' stage yet. We need time to commune... It'll come to us ...

I should correct the date- I found a message from RBT well before September. I found that date connected with a paypal payment. I have no sense of time. It seems like weeks since I got my confirmation letter and RBT said he tries to send them out around a week from that. I also forgot that I already ordered extra batteries.

Edit: Got my letter Monday but no follow up yet so I can order accessories before it's sent out. Don't know how long a wait it is between the letter and the final confirmation and mailing but

That concerns me since I never received an invoice for add-ons. Mainly additional stems since I bought batteries from RBT a while ago and have a charger.

THE ZION TRAIN JUST PULLED INTO MY STATION!
The downside is that I never got notification of shipment, so I didn't expect it to be here so soon (not that I'm complaining!), so.... I have nothing to load into my Zion. Luckily, I have a friend bringing something over soon. The batteries are plugged into the Nitecore, and now, we wait...

Thanks for posting. I'll wait a few days before checking in with RBT since we got our letters the same day. I had written that I might need batteries but I had already ordered and paid for them months ago which may be why I didn't get charged for accessories.

I don't think so. RBT seems to not get into the whole date-estimate thing the way GHL does. I think it's smart.

So I have been thinking about jumping on the Zion preorder train. I have been on the Grasshopper preorder list for about 6 months but I know that still puts 1.5 years of preorders ahead of me. I can't afford both the GH and the Zion so I've been thinking about canceling my GH preorder to instead join the Zion preorder list. I haven't followed the Zion nearly as much as the grasshopper, although I have skimmed through a lot of the pages. My biggest wonder right now is how long of a wait it would be for the Zion if I ordered it now. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas that would help me decide? I think personally I prefer the simplicity of the Zion design vs the GH and it should cause less future issues. I am also a fan of RBT's involvement of FC in their feedback. I guess I've pretty much already sold myself on the Zion since I am just tired of everything to do with the GH, so I am really just wondering how long people think the wait will be

Wow... so, by summer? Honestly. I've been in line too long to back out, but I would have certainly not wanted to join in if I knew it was going to be equivalent to having a baby, when I started. Yea, Yea, I already know the sentiment. Don't like it, there's the door sort of attitude. Sorry for the negativity, just a bit sour. When I joined in, the only information was that this was supposed to start shipping out in October. So my frame of reference might be a bit different than the new folks.
It's like ordering in February like you beta folks only to be told in July that it will arrive by... now.
Not a lot of positive impressions would have occured then eh?

@seaofgreens I think the reason I'm so impatient was I somehow thought I would have it by Halloween, then I set "realistic" expectations of Christmas. I'm still excited, but for a very long time now there has been a void in my portable collection, that I expected to be filled. Its beginning to look like the firefly 2 will be possibly joining my collection first.
I'm torn because I'm very excited for the zion itself, but longer I wait the longer I have to fill that void with something else. What if the firefly 2 comes first and just blows me away? Will I want to carry the larger zion? Don't get me wrong, I'm very excited about the zion still, but I was not at all anticipating this kind of wait. I believe I even posted my reservations about pre-ordering anything at this point since it always goes sour for me, but I did it anyway. I'm counting on the fact that it should all be worth it, but that is someday. Who knows when. In the meantime I've been using less ideal vapes.
EDIT: Can someone clarify something for me? These current production units, including mine that isn't on its way yet. Are these being manufactured outside of the USA and just shipped here?

Summer for "buy it today, get it next week" Should be through current orders in a few months give or take. Yes, my need to ensure good vaporizers are shipped so I don't out of business because of warranty issues trumps anyone's VAS lol. So, two options... Wait patiently or please submit for a refund on the www.
