You might not want to hear it, but men and woman ARE biologically different. This is an irrefutable fact. We have different hormones. Different ratios of muscle to body fat. Different skeletal structure. Different reproductive organs. Etc ... Hormones play massive roles in thinking and behavior. There is no denying this.
To be clear, that doesn't mean I don't think a woman would be capable of handling political business. I don't see why not ...
But to deny basic truths about our biological differences is wilful ignorance.

I haven't watched much of him even. I know very little about Peterson, but I do understand biology.

His behavior is irrelevant. Biologically he is different. Period. I have no doubt that a female body builder or MMA fighter could whoop the ass of many men, the point stands.

True. I'm not trying to be rude to you personally, so please don't take offense. There's just a lot of these Right Wing talkers like Jordan Peterson who love droning on about how women are naturally weaklings who are "too emotional" and "belong in the kitchen". I find it very funny because virtually all of them have noodle arms and (often literally) cry on camera for a living.
Recently... there's been a new crop of more brolic, muscular "apolitical*" manosphere types who will say the same things. Now, they're just as emotional as their more effete colleagues, but... at least they got muscles
However... I will point out every single one of those guys are on hormone replacement therapy which kind of negates their "men are biologically _____ " talking points a tad
*from what I can tell "apolitical" is French for "Right Wing but too ashamed to admit it". Synonyms include "centrist".
Not in all societies, not in all cultures.
There are (and have been) matrilineal and matriarcal societies and cultures. These women have the same biology than the ones living in patrilineal and patriarcal societies. Yet their behavior and needs are the exact opposite.
I tend to think that the "biological imperatives of the female body" place them naturally in a domination position over men. They just don't use their dominating power like men do.

i was just contemplating your response with regard to the 2 female leaders that i could think of; Golda Meir in Israel & Indira Gandhi in India. Women in Israel share the duty in the military (all mandatory drafts) . Don't know enough about India to comment.
It seems when women lead in Western societies i think they are as capable of same devious impulses as men. Not naturing and caring.

Societies, mores and cultures change constantly and dramatically between nations and locales. Any true biological differences within genders are minuscule in comparison. Between genders it is a different story completely.
I think you need to look at more modern examples like Scandinavia and some island nations. Tho you needn't go so far. Just look to our south...

By the way, this attitude is why we're facing the collapse of organized human civilization in my lifetime.
I definitely wasn't thinking about naturing and caring lol.
These are the roles assigned by men to women in a society dominated by men.
When I say women can be powerful I talk about real powers. They can be warriors, shamans, leaders, savant...
Of course in a patriarchal society, by definition a society built by men around a system of domination, women in places of power will behaves like men does. This is not what would happen in a matriarchal society since the behavior of persons in power would be radically different. (Radically : to the roots of the society.)
In short : in a given society organized around a system of elites, people in power will behave equally no matter their gender or biological sex.

Sheinbaum is a great example. And not because of her feminine nurturing nature either. She projects power and confidence. That's why Trump respects her more than "men" like Trudeau or Macron who exude a more submissive energy while dealing with the dictator.
She does offer a kinder and humane brand of politics, but that's not she's a woman. It's because she's a Leftist, rather than a Liberal. Her predecessor AMLO enacted the same sort of policies and he was an old man.
Our President also spends MUCH more time on his hair and makeup every day
I can't help but wonder how difficult it will be in future archeology for those poor scientists researching remains from our current time lol
The current archeologists have it easy... or have just been missing the plot on every human specimen they've unearthed.
I get the current views and try to respect the gender preference in communication to help people feel accepted because we all should feel that way, but denying biology and anatomy doesn't work for me.
