Qwiso to crumble?

Start scraping, stirring and folding it before it is completely purged. Wax is just oil with air whipped in. If you do it before the alc is purged, you are trapping pockets of solvent and it will never purge right.
I have heard that spme strains do it regardless of method but I think environmental factors (temps/humidity) play a role as well.
Sour Kush turned into a nearly white crumble the first time I made it and a pull and snap the second time. I let it purge longer the second time before scraping.
I suppose you could gently heat what you have in a small dish over a flame. When it starts to soften, start stirring it. Keep heating it and stirring it until you are whipping it like cream. You'll see the texture change. It will become cloudy (tiny air bubbles). When you get it where you want it stop and let it cool.
Hard, translucent shatter or near shatter is the best. The most pure, flavorful, mmmmm. Sour Kush makes ridiculous BHO btw.

Instead of a flame, I've found my home stereo surround receiver produces the perfect amount of heat to help my QWISO evaporate properly.
Though I personally prefer QWET over QWISO (everclear instead of ISO)

I was referring to the question of "whipping" air into oil to make it more like crumble, wax type material. You slowly warm the, what I presume started off solid, oil until it gets pliable. You work it with a toothpick or something and continue heating. You are whipping air bubbles into the viscous oil. They get trapped and give the oil a light, airy appearance with lots of air pocket voids. Like a honeycomb, although I believe honeycomb refers to a different preparation.
I only add heat to speed purge if I absolutely can't wait. Otherwise, slow evap of a thin film will produce the best. Overnight is usually plenty of time.
QWET (Graves) produces better, tastier oil but takes much longer to purge.
Butane is best in terms of purge time and overall quality. At least IMO.
