I am going to be trying out QWET and have been doing a lot of research but have just a few questions from those who have experience with QWET.
1. What kind of yield should I expect with some decent, fresh sugar trim? (Not fresh frozen, but it's only 1-2 weeks from harvest) I know there is no real way to know, but maybe worse case, best case guess? I am aiming for 10% to 15% yield.
2. Since this is for personal use, I plan on dabbing the 1st wash and using the 2nd/3rd wash for edibles or possible a tincture for my father who has nerve damage/pain. If I wanted to make a tincture would I just let the 3rd wash sit in the dark for a few weeks, sort of like green dragon?
3. Any purging tips? I have about 10-15 of the pie sized pyrex dishes I have been picking up from goodwill, some are the old-school boro glass, some are the newer lime soda glass, will that matter? My plan is just to purge at room temp, I may throw it on top of my xbox or computer to add a little heat.
4. How do I consolidate the qwet that is on the pyrex into a single patty? Will it scrape easily, or will I need heat first?
5. Doing a full pound is going to take some time, should I get some larger sized mason jars for the washes or just use the standard and do a few at a time?
